All my life, I have been having a lucky charm.... I passed all my exams with good grades...... And my lucky charm has been hard work and a sincere study. After university, again my lucky charm proved to be my research which I had religiously carried out. Today, I am a Physics professor. Only hard work pays off at the end of the day.
That's amazing! I'd say you definitely make your own luck ;)

Hi, Arnel! Excellent lesson, idioms are always useful! In Finland, we have pretty much the same lucky charms as you have (a four-leave clover, a horseshoe, a rabbit's foot (old-fashioned), a bracelet, but not a pen usually). I don't have a lucky charm, but I know many people have. Sometimes I have had beginner's luck when I, for example, have tried a new hobby for the first time.
Hi Arnel, I am lucky to have you to be my English teacher. Thanks for kind teaching.
My pleasure! I'm happy you enjoy my lessons :)

having found your videos, i consider myself a lucky guy 👍
Woohoo! Thank you for being here! :)
Thank you, Ms. Arnel. Love the way you demonstrate these idioms. So funny. Really inspired & trying to make sentences: 1. Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals? He's so lucky. I think he made his own luck. 2. OMG, your Dad is a millionaire. It's nothing. He hit the jackpot. Defo the luck of the draw. 3. Nobita: I CBA to walk home after being beaten up by them. Doraemon: You're in luck. I have a scooter in my pouch. 4. As luck would have it, on my scooter ride to grab a bite, I got pooped on... Why on earth some pigeon can poop when it's already her bed time?
I'd love a scooter that could fit in a pouch! Great examples with the idioms Lionel! :)
My charm is your smile :)

Hi Arnel. i didn't know there are such aidims by luck !!!!🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Thank you 😃😃😃😃. I am so lucky having your channel🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
In China, Chinese knot is believed to be a talisman for good luck. 8 is considered as a lucky number in China because it sounds like “made a fortune” in Chinese and 4 is thought to be an inauspicious number since it sounds like “kick the bucket ”. Thx for the phenomenal lesson.😊
I do agree.with someone who said that: "You are the best"! Means: Best teacher? Or beautiful teacher. My.idea is: You are both: Best and pretty teacher.📙🖍🙋😁🤝🇯🇵🇰🇷 with one country you are from Arnel? ❤❤❤❤
