My prediction until Capcom has a new reason/s to change their formula- 2012: Resident Evil 6 After bad fan/reviewer reception of RE6, Capcom goes back to it's roots and listens to fans for remakes and revaluates how the company will release the future releases, then comes up with a new formula.
