    • To be honest, I feel like MTV would have be a key shift in society today, if you think about it. MTV was moving back then, and was catching a big crowd of viewers, respectively, for the channels openness to the punk/alt scene, and if it had expanded more in that direction more, rather than towards artists like modern rap of the 2008-2014 era, and cheesy reality shows, I genuinely think people would've revolutionized a little better if punk era became more common. I miss shows like scarred, MTV Music, Rob and Bigg. It became relevant, but it failed to proceed in that direction.

    • @@sunmal1599 Lol Not where I lived. The punk/rock style of the 2000's was not close to how people viewed it in the 80's and maybe early 90's. Maybe it depends on where you lived, but the punk/rock kids were pretty average kids who were more emo than anything else in the 2000's. A lot of chains and baggy pants, shitty haircuts and eyeliner. Besides, I think the 'punk' Avril is referring to in the song isn't really punk, just more of a skater dude.
