I'd have to imagine that it's one of the few things in.life that you'd have the.most fun doing with all of your clothes still on.....My mom & dad's generation.really had it going.on! ***** Same. I listen to Frank's Christmas songs practically all year, I don't know why but that holiday glee is just... Enchanting. :D I love rock, even some stupid popular hits of today get stuck in my head, but I really enjoy oldies more, it's just... More in tune with my soul, so to speak, and feel much more like dancing listening to swing than when listening today's summer hits.
@TheLordSheogorath8 жыл бұрын
Largely true what you wrote about popular dancing trends and that the average person is not schooled in genuine dancing. Also, it doesn't help that more people than ever are physically unfit in this world. However, all that said, there are still plenty of very talented and trained dancers in this world, in all the world's major ballet companies-- the Bolshoi Ballet and Kirov Ballet in Russia, the Paris Opera Ballet, the Royal Ballet in London, the Boston Ballet, the American Ballet Theater and New York City Ballet in NYC, the Joffrey in Chicago, the San Francisco Ballet and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Manitoba, Canada, among several other prestigious dance companies worldwide. And there are also still very many talented dancers in stage musicals on the Broadway and West End (London) stages, as well in many other professional theater venues internationally. This is also one reason why the dancers in the choruses of professional theater productions are known, affectionately, as "gypsies," because they travel to wherever dancers are needed. And also, even though it is a television program of amateurs interacting with professional choreographers, "Dancing with the Stars" features one of the most talented choreographers and popular dancers in the world today--Derek Hough, who has obviously been schooled in ballet and jazz dancing and is a very graceful and nimble man. Watching Mr. Hough perform, with or without a partner, is an experience that brings back the feelings one has when watching the old masters such as Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor.

What a song, what a rhythm, what a beat!!!!!! Amazing. This is what music was made for. Love sharon 💜
I have loved this music for years!!!!
Timeless accidental music video to this masterpiece of a song, I hope it stays on the internet forever for the future generations
2024 - 63 still lovin this. I was in Lima in 93.
And she does it in heels
Two o'clock jump
Idk if it is but, women in ballroom dancing mostly wear heels while dancing
David Po backwards.
David Po “and she does it in heels” while I can’t even do the “Y.M.C.A”
Still gets my heart thumping with the rhythm, just how they remember the steps escapes me, quite brilliant.
Muchas gracias, buenas noches.
This is talent! Who’s watching in 2019?
In 2023 ;)
2024
Holy Mary, mother of God! That`s incredible! The music.
Merci beaucoup.
How can you "poo poo" this wonderful dance? This, was part of the birth of dance after the war. You Grandparents, or parents went thru this. It was a joy then, and to me it still is. JMO.
I wish they still played stuff like this
I agree, better than boom boom bash bash
em marina Well gentlemen, allow me to give you some good news. Since 1990, a genre called neo-swing made an appearance, and although some did mix things up with electronic and rock music, many remained true to the original genre. I recommend Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Cherry Poppin' Daddies.
I like thos good old times. The Music was great.
So much energy yet still so fluid.
I could watch this video a thousand times and still be amazed by it two of the greatest dancers and a very great song
It's brilliant. Makes me happy
It just seems to me that the music and the dance just meshed together so well. like the music was made for the dance and the dance was made for the music
they are brilliant I cannot take my eyes off Fred Astaite, what a dancer and Benny Goodman's sounds,
Wow! I mean Wow! That was simply wonderful! Thanks for posting this! 😁🎶🎵🎺🎷✨🇨🇦‼️
Well done. The dance is nicely connected to the music, even though they are dancing to a different music.
The Best pair ever! And the band was also great!
watching Astaire & Rogers dance makes my heart sing, sing, sing!
love the music and the dancing too, love big band music orchestras.
BUENÍSIMO!!! Me gusta mucho este musical!

Décembre 2019 🎄 A Wonder ! ✨ Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers excellent dancers 👌 I do not get enough !
During that era when simple everyone had style and class. It was in the air, in the drinking water, everywhere.
Me estás weando?, verdad?
How can one possibly sit still while listening to this music, I'll never know!
Fred Astaire was a great dancer, but that lady matching him step for step in those heels, is what is amazing to me!
Song Lyrics below: Sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Now you're singin' with a swing Sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Now you're singin' with a swing When the music goes around, Everybody goes to town, But here's something you should know Ha ha baby, ho ho ho Sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Now you're singin' with a swing Swing, swing, swing, swing Listen to the trumpet swing Blow, blow, blow, blow, Listen to the trombones go When the music goes around, Everybody goes to town, But here's something you should know Ha ha baby, ho ho ho Sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Everybody go! Solo Do do do do do do Come on and sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Now you're singing with a Swing Swing, swing, swing, swing Everybody start to swing Ooh ooh, waah ooh, Now you're swinging while you sing When the music goes around, Everybody goes to town, Just relaxe and take it slow Sing, sing, sing, sing Everybody start to sing Start singing Keep swinging Now you're singing with a swing
No puedo dejar de ver a Fred Astaire. Es el mejor bailarín de la historia.
Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers....they really were a great team and dancing to such amazing music too
Boa tarde ao Canal e a todos. Dupla maravilhosa e imbatível: Ginger Rogers e Fred Astaire. Parabéns.
is it just me...or the opening of Fairly Oddparents took A LOT of inspiration from this song xD?
Mylttlepwny543 and the pacing.
Omg yes xD
MrKlausbaudelaire Dude... Monster's Inc.
evilfuzzybunny100 hmm, monster's Inc has a softer tune, I would say its more like Clarinet a la king.
Leonardo Renaissance and guess where they might have taken inspiration from....
Back when dancing required tremendous skill, not just moving your hand up and down.

I saw this video sometime last year, I think, and I had been looking for it again. This video you put together is just awesome! Great work! :)
Astaire and Rogers dancing reminds me of a scene from The Simpsons when Mr Burns dances, to this tune, with Mrs Bouvier
Brilliant, brilliant mashup!
