The Halloween Event 2023 part 2 has started together with Team GO Rocket taking over Pokemon Go too! Today, we try to complete the special leading up to Giovanni to get ourselves the Shadow Regigigas. This was how it went for me...

    • congrats, 0/15/15 is actually the rank 1 dratini for Little League, rank 6 dragonair GL and rank 46 dragonite GL, so if you wanna keep it as dratini under 500 CP it's a very cool flex

  • I have been playing Pokemon GO now for almost two years and today fought my first time against Giovanni. Took couple of tries, but managed to defeat him with Conkeldurr-Metagross-Scizor -team. I got regular 9-10-11 shadow Regigigas. WOW xD

  • There is a trick to encounter zorua on the map if you see it you need to go away until it despawns then change buddy then go to it again then walk away again and switch back to your original buddy and now it spawns as zorua this way you can catch them with a hundo map

  • also the only reason to hold super rocket was to farm bellsprouts off decoy grunts, which is pointless now that Arlo has bellsprouts

  • I already have a special research for the rocket radar that is already complete, but I haven’t collected the radar since I already have one in my inventory. But I don’t have the research for regigigas. Would I just use the radar I have then collect the research one to get the new research?

    • When you get to the third pokemon, you can just see who it is and leave. You will still have the art.

  • As much as it makes sense that the shadow legendaries will come to shadow raids but defeating giovanni is much easier than during a shadow legendary raids which are locked to weekends and need a large groups of people raiding in person, which is the stupidest decision ever since the remote raid nerf.

    • i mean... it was a problem for no one to raid irl with a large group of people before remote raid were included. It's harder but it's the point of pokemon go, you go out in real life. If you play from home it's not really what the game was meant to be.

    • @@thibaudsuchel I raid in person every day but there is no local community over weekends and that has always been the case but before RRP we expected that it would never change. Apart from some one-off raid weekend events, the raid bosses were available all throughout the week and it was easy to defeat them with the local community but with shadow legendary raids and elite raids, there is a dependence on local community on weekends and that is the problem. Our community can manage 10+ players for any raid during the week but that isn't the case on weekends.

    • @@parth17bhatia yes, I see your point it's very hard, but that's what is making those pokemons rare, even if it's not fun to miss something because it's to hard to get. For example I was not able to have shadow mewtwo because there was not enough people to raid with me, but if everything was easy there would be no point

    • do you have a previous rocket takeover special research uncompleted? unless it's on page 1, if you're in the middle of a "shadowy something" quest you need to finish it before you get the new one
