    @CyDoneTV@CyDoneTV9 жыл бұрын
    • But he should not have gotten the MVP that 1 season. D Wade was a much better player that season. They just gave it to Kobe because they realized he had never won the award and that he was getting old. Kobe deserved 2-3 MVPs. But not that 1 season.

  • The greatest respect I can give this man is that I HATED him as a player when he played my Suns in the playoffs. Even though we had the Lakers number from 2004-2007 in the playoffs.. he always made it scary! Once we were the 2 seed, playing a not very good 7 seed in the Lakers. We had won 61 games that year with Nash/Stoudemire/Marion and crew..the Lakers had Kobe with a high school team..guys like Smush Parker... Kobe single handedly took us to game 7!! That was the most amazing thing I'd saw in a while. The man was a killer. R.I.P. to the second greatest ASSASSIN the NBA has ever witnessed.

Imagine LA 2001 and the streets flooded near Staples Center to watch Kobe Bryant bring a title. Clutch was in his genetics. I would never in my life want to be a Coach standing sideline with 3 seconds to go up by 1 but Kobe has the ball in his hands. You know exactly what comes after that, there never was another option. • No one can ever be like him. I repeat no one! A true athlete and an amazing father and husband for his family. I salute you man, I used to watch you in my childhood days because you're a good basketball player. You used to carry your team before. For now, let us reminisce the moment he had. You have a huge impact in basketball history and everyone in this world are crying, even the haters. But for now, take a rest my man and your daughter. Guide your family, friends, and more. Thank you, Kobe!

  • these are all so clutch but my favorites are 4:04 and 6:15 A double ot buzzer beater is insane as it is, but when it's a 3 and with 1 second left that is the definition of clutch And being able to show up LeBron in those final seconds when he's guarding him is awesome.

  • Kobe lived for those moments, which made him one of the most hated players; he was the best closer in the game. He was NEVER afraid. I will never forget when he shot those consecutive air balls against Utah in the ‘98 playoffs… THAT was the moment he became feared with the ball in his hands with the game on the line.

Like we did everything possible, good defense-check double/triple team-check up by two with a few seconds to go-check put as many hands in his face a possible-check It's Kobe shooting- o_0 (Braveheart Scottish accent) 'Les go home lads, I'm not shaming meself fr dease bastards!'

    • Rick Steck You= Mr Stats/New generation fan. The Great Larry Bird (who had arguable the greats basketball I.Q ever) sums it up best. And I quote: *The day I stopped caring about stats, was the day I started winning championships.* Kobe is not out to get a triple double, and trying to stat pad so KZhead trolls can give him props, his only focus is championships. Good day!

      @central848@central8489 жыл бұрын
    • Rick Steck I have debated you before, and me and another basketball fan gave you more than enough stats to shut down every argument you threw our way (on Coach's video where he compared Kobe's 81 to M.J's 69), so no, we do not hate stats at all, but you new generation fans are 1) Too emotionally invested, thus have very biased and compromised verdicts (this is easily seen through the way you choose to articulate yourself, especially where it concerns Kobe Bryant and his fans) 2) Focus solely on stats like numbers on a piece of paper tell you everything, and forget some of the other essential components that must register before dishing out any verdict, like the most important weapon of any all time great, *intangibles.* This is according to the greats themselves, but I digress, we both couldn't get through to you in that month long debate, so I refuse to waste any more time catering to or knocking my head against a closed door. For the last time then, good day.

    • lol, I'm not 100% Pippin's better than gasol, and of course, shaq is 100 times better than pippin. Its ironic, because if theres one player who had all the same opportunities as jordan, its kobe. He had the same coach. Phil Jackson, the greatest coach of all time. Kobe tried to suceed without him, even told Phil his triangle offense was holding him back, after kobe missed the playoffs and was eliminated in the first round twice, he submitted to phils rule, and phil built a great team around him. Gasol, one of the most overated players in history, kobe would have 0 championships without him, 2. The first 3 rings, I don't countr as kobe's those were shaqs.
