Portals is the third studio album by American singer, songwriter, actress, filmmaker Melanie Martinez. The album was released on March 31, 2023. On this album Melanie "comes back from the dead" with a very different style and very different songs, new character (a pink-skinned and four-eyed fairy) and new aesthetic, “All the songs on this record are based on the past life regression therapy books I've been reading for several years,” she commented. Some of the interesting things about This album is that there are two songs produced completely by Melanie Martinez: Void and Light Shower. There is also a song called "Powder" in which she has a modified voice to the point that it is not recognized that it is her. We can appreciate her great creative and artistic capacity of her in this album. In addition to a beautiful vocal performance.
In this new project, Melanie has had very good reviews and has positioned herself in the top charts of best-selling albums. She has done good publicity.
Several of the songs have a union, a continuation between them, creating a cycle. In the album (cd) nor in Spotify you can hear the perfect continuity between them, therefore I decided to do it in a video, so I edited and united them achieving the idea that Melanie was looking for.
