If you've misplaced your Windows login password and lack access to an alternative computer, fret not. I'll guide you through the process of resetting your local account password for Windows, and this method is applicable to Windows 10 as well.
Note: Utilize this approach only when lacking access to another computer and seeking to regain entry to your primary PC

    • when you boot your laptop and the windows logo appears, just turn it off by holding the power button. do this 3 or 4 times until the automatic repair appears on the screen. than select advanced options and than command prompt@@PaulBeamer-kh5pu
