    • actually I never thought I would get advanced replies on this level. to me I never had doubts about spinosaurus and at no time did i visualize it as having a tubular tail. I knew full well it was aquatic and fed on fish. The mouth alone dictates that it did not run up and do battles with other dinosaurs. as far as the sail I can only say my reflections that I personally think. Temperatures varied it living in the water and the sail did everything. also when lashing out at something in the water the sail also stopped its body movement. If it slammed to the side with its head the water resistance from the sail if it was submerged let it beat out what it was lunging at. The sail was multifunctional. at no time did spino or any animal in the history of the universe try to advance towards a goal. Many similar animals were around that had NO SAILS. the reason for that confusion is that evolution is branches like a braided river system--not like branches from a bush or tree. (because of inbreeding between similar animals) No spinosaurus planned for a sail for a specific reason simply because we desire it to put things at peace in our minds.

  • I love this documentary so much, that CGI effects look absolutely incredible! Especially Spinosaurus looks pretty cool, in this shape I like it the most. For me as a big fan of bipedal Spinosaurus is very big pitty that paleontologists finally found new bones of Spinosaur tail and then they found out that Spinosaurus could swim very well and its walking was quadrupedal. I don’t like this truth. Even that I always will love bipedal Spinosaurus from this documentary!

    @Marasuchus216@Marasuchus2164 жыл бұрын
    • Quadrupedal Spino isn't that likely considering that theropod hands could NOT support the body without breaking. Spino did have short legs but I think it just waddled like a giant pelican or pangolin when on land, and spent the rest of its time in water.

      @cintronproductions9430@cintronproductions94304 жыл бұрын
    • +Marasuchus216 A very; very wrong interpretation. Spinosaurus legs are/were robust enough to gave the theropod a considerable enough bipedal locomotion on land; when it switched to terrestrial habitat 2.bp.blogspot. com/ -3IvJ_AZ8f64/VBUADEhx8wI /AAAAAAAAHAY / EyiVZaCbb-Q /s1600/spino%2Bc. jpg https: // 2.bp.blogspot. com/ -xJpegwz9ELQ / VBQTXwsKiFI /AAAAAAAAGVY / Wtg7KM9RUIQ /s1600/Ichthyovenator%2Bvs%2BSpino%2BC .jpg

  • OK, whoever created this clip list needs to correct the list titles ASAP. The first clip is not of dinosaur Argentinosaurus, but of the Pliosaur (short-necked plesiosaur) 'Predator X' and it's prey, Kimmerosaurus. The third clip is not an oviraptorid defending its nest, but Microraptor being hunted by a Sinornithosaurus. The fourth clip is not of a fight between Spinosaurus and Charcharodontosaurus, but is of the sauropod Argentinosaurus being harrassed by a pack of Mapusaurus. That 's three out of five clips wrongly titled. What happened to the BBC's high standards? Didn't anyone check this out before it was put up???
