Crazy how BBC sent a camera man this far back in history
its called time machine...
it’s bbc, no footage is ever impossible to get
Lol
@Anas Vali The only silly people is you that you reply to our jokes
WWD used real filming locations while this is all CGI. WWD would have been better for this joke.
They had pretty good cameras in prehistory

Ooh this that a documentary or a movie ? Sounds interesting !

Yes would love it but the movie sucked

Maybe them combin the good parts of planet dinosaur and wwd to make the ultimate documentory
“Number 5: Argentinasaurus” *proceeds to show a pliosaur*
Not only that, they missed the (3) Microraptor and the (2) Mapusaurus.

This was a really neat series. Unfortunately, nearly all of the scenes in this video are mislabeled.
literally. But Planet Dinosaur still doesn’t hold a candle to the original Walking With Dinosaurs.
HypnoGaming-I forgot that even existed until you mentioned it, lol
Yeah, what the hell is that about?
@@hypn0298 Planet Dinosaur is a science documentary, Walking with Dinosaurs is a nature documentary.
@@paleoph6168 I prefer PD tbh
They made a mistake at the beginning giving the first animal the wrong name On further watching pretty much every label before each section is wrong, I am very curious why they didn’t bother to even watch the clips where the names of the dinosaurs are used frequently
HPEpic874 well all except for two. The one with the outdated spino fishing and the one with dinosaur cannibalism are correct.
noticed that too
I noticed it right away when they said argentinosaurus
@Robert A4346 Nice friends reference
Top 5 Dinosaur Moments -> First "dinosaur" clip: Marine reptile aight
gray and also it wasn’t even the one that they mentioned😒

@Jake Trilling all dinosaurs are exclusively land dwelling hence the name 😐
Jake Trilling just because a red panda is called a red panda, doesn’t mean it’s a bear... same with koalas being called “bears”. Marine reptiles from the Mesozoic are NOT swimming dinosaurs.
@Jake Trilling i meant dinosaurs are labelled for the land dwelling reptiles during their time. One of the reason pterosaurs arent classified as a dinosaur. Just google whats classified as a dinosaur to end this discussion.
I remember watching these when I was a kid would love to see them make more of them

Been a while I've watched any dinosaur documentaries so this was sure welcomed.
Can u believe people actually Believe this stuff?🤣😅
D T. What do you mean?
People pushing dinosaurs are the same people pushing no god and you came from nothing. It's a joke and a fraud. Believe what u want but just remember if you think dinosaurs from 70 million years ago running around going roar are real... Remember that's what you Believe.

now im just sad
Awesome moments of how amazing the dinosaurs really were.
The Spinosaurus is severely outdated tho but even at that time it was far more accurate than the monster we saw in JP3. XD

Amazing moment when I found out Argetinosaurus is a marine reptile.

BBC: Top 5 dinosaur moments Walking With Dinosaurs: *am I a joke to you?*
Well the 3D movie is a big fat joke, but the OG documentary deserves respect.
@@cintronproductions9430 Yes on of good documentary films is revolution of dinosaurs
I always love watching these magnificent creatures.
Some poor intern stuck at home probably put this together. in a few hours
It’s sad that they got people who don’t even know anything about dinosaurs to put this video together.
HypnoGaming back then we did not know as much as we do now. Just like the new spinosaurus reconstruction, we are just going to keep discovering more and more about these creatures. Back then this would of been a very accurate documentary
this is like, im pretty sure 30-20 years old
They should do a big Dinosaur documentary every 10 years to keep up to date with the new science. Walking with Dinosaurs (1999) Planet Dinosaur (2011) ???
era of dinosaurs?
It’s already been confirmed since May 2019 that Prehistoric Planet is upcoming, it is a BBC documentary series executive produced by Jon Favreau
@@hypn0298 Is there an official release date yet
Hriday Joshi not yet. All we know is that it was greenlit back in May 2019 to begin production. We may see news later this year, time will tell.

"Spinosaurus's teeth were designed to grip prey, not tear off flesh" Proceeds to tear off flesh with teeth
of course the recent update is that now that they found a spino tail it turns out the were thin and wide almost like a fish or like a gator that swims by using its tail. So they were just near water they practically lived in it but could get out if they wanted
It’s crazy how much we’ve learned in such a short amount of time. This Spinosaurus was very up to date when the series came out in 2011. Now it has dinky legs and a tail fluke.
Spino might just be the strangest dinosaur ever. What's next? Are they gonna discover it used its sail to fly? XD
@@cintronproductions9430 ha ha ha
@@cintronproductions9430 a flying Spinosaur is perhaps one of the more terrifying things I have imagined
actually I never thought I would get advanced replies on this level. to me I never had doubts about spinosaurus and at no time did i visualize it as having a tubular tail. I knew full well it was aquatic and fed on fish. The mouth alone dictates that it did not run up and do battles with other dinosaurs. as far as the sail I can only say my reflections that I personally think. Temperatures varied it living in the water and the sail did everything. also when lashing out at something in the water the sail also stopped its body movement. If it slammed to the side with its head the water resistance from the sail if it was submerged let it beat out what it was lunging at. The sail was multifunctional. at no time did spino or any animal in the history of the universe try to advance towards a goal. Many similar animals were around that had NO SAILS. the reason for that confusion is that evolution is branches like a braided river system--not like branches from a bush or tree. (because of inbreeding between similar animals) No spinosaurus planned for a sail for a specific reason simply because we desire it to put things at peace in our minds.
We need more of this. We need more documentaries of past fauna and flora, thanks.
Absolutely. Expensive ones at least. We've had cheaper ones every year, but could definitely do with one that's a big project.
I think the best bbc dinosaur documentary was planet dinosaur like if you agree
I think walking with dinosaurs was better though.
@@gabrielf.ferreira9132 yea but walking with dinosaurs is very out dated now
Why the hell don't most of the titles match the clips!? "5. Biggest Dinosaur Ever! Argentinosaurus" shows Predator X hunting Plesiosaurs "3. Shoutout to BBC
I love this documentary so much, that CGI effects look absolutely incredible! Especially Spinosaurus looks pretty cool, in this shape I like it the most. For me as a big fan of bipedal Spinosaurus is very big pitty that paleontologists finally found new bones of Spinosaur tail and then they found out that Spinosaurus could swim very well and its walking was quadrupedal. I don’t like this truth. Even that I always will love bipedal Spinosaurus from this documentary!
Quadrupedal Spino isn't that likely considering that theropod hands could NOT support the body without breaking. Spino did have short legs but I think it just waddled like a giant pelican or pangolin when on land, and spent the rest of its time in water.
+Marasuchus216 A very; very wrong interpretation. Spinosaurus legs are/were robust enough to gave the theropod a considerable enough bipedal locomotion on land; when it switched to terrestrial habitat 2.bp.blogspot. com/ -3IvJ_AZ8f64/VBUADEhx8wI /AAAAAAAAHAY / EyiVZaCbb-Q /s1600/spino%2Bc. jpg https: // 2.bp.blogspot. com/ -xJpegwz9ELQ / VBQTXwsKiFI /AAAAAAAAGVY / Wtg7KM9RUIQ /s1600/Ichthyovenator%2Bvs%2BSpino%2BC .jpg
@Cintrón Productions @The DORUK I wish that were true. Thank you both for very interesting informations and your opinions, I very much hope you’ll be both right!
@@Marasuchus216 We have to see further evaluations and publishments of Spinosaurus, as NatGeo has appearently published highly speculative and very controversial articles when it comes to paleontology

15:07 THE BABIESSS!!! 😍😍😍
OK, whoever created this clip list needs to correct the list titles ASAP. The first clip is not of dinosaur Argentinosaurus, but of the Pliosaur (short-necked plesiosaur) 'Predator X' and it's prey, Kimmerosaurus. The third clip is not an oviraptorid defending its nest, but Microraptor being hunted by a Sinornithosaurus. The fourth clip is not of a fight between Spinosaurus and Charcharodontosaurus, but is of the sauropod Argentinosaurus being harrassed by a pack of Mapusaurus. That 's three out of five clips wrongly titled. What happened to the BBC's high standards? Didn't anyone check this out before it was put up???
