I did not even know he directed Man of Steel, I was so just into movies itself, I didn't care about who the director is as long as I find them beautiful. I just love how Snyder is so sincere with these DC heroes. It feels like the movie actually believes what it’s showing. It’s refreshing in an age with so much snark and cynical, result oriented “humor” in these movies. Adventure movies used to be more like this-genuine and try to have a theme. Beautiful.
Yep, ironically, Superman had the same problem in the 1980s when Donner took the first movie seriously and then Richard Lester turned them into snarky comedies. Margot Kidder even described Lester's approach as "cynical" many times. We see the same thing happening now in superhero movies, where many directors still refuse to take the genre seriously. People like Raimi, Nolan and Snyder aren't being allowed to make these movies the way they want to make them very often anymore.
Only how things are shot. What he did with the story is just rushing through a lot of stories that could have had their own movie, not to mention he went for a depressed Superman turning evil. He knows how to make a scene look good with the camera angles, but he just can't make a great cinematic universe.

@@peliculafanatic5701 oh s**t down the rabbit hole we go👿👇 I'm an artist I've grown up reading watching and drawing these characters and their world for years. for long time hard core DC fans like me these characters are like my gods\old friends, so when I see morons like Zack getting the chance to finally put them all to gather on the big screen in one universe and completely screwing it up it both deeply pisses me of and saddens me Superman isn't truly a good person any more he was raised to be selfish he's only a few steps away from becoming Homelander. Batman is a murder with now real rules, he's just the Punisher in a Batsuit what's the point of him learning all those hand to hand fighting skill and the gadget and him hating guns if he's just going to kill people anyways? That's NOT Batman. Batman is a good person who what's to help and save every one even his enemies. Flash is being played by gay Robin in a lobster suit who can't run. Lobo is playing Aquman They completely skiped Cyborg's journey to becoming a JL member after being a Teen Titan. Wonder Woman is being played by a skinny Kardashian that can't acted. And thanks to Snyder the whole broken universe looks more like a ugly horror film then a comic book universe with.

In India there are a lot of Marvel fan but I love Marvel and DC both. Especially Man of Steel, this movie was very underrated. If Man of Steel became popular it would have broken records of some of the Marvel films also. I've watched a lot of film series but the favorite one is always Man of Steel.
