got so addicted to watching simulator setups that i thought this was a sim itself

major respect for the pilot for the respect he shows everyone else, it's clearly his show yet calls everyone on the boat and around him "sir"

This is what i imagine the cockpits of a spaceship will look like in a couple hundred years. Looks awesome.

Bruh gotta be one of the most chill looking jobs ever. I know it takes a lot of learning and experience to master this craft so I appreciate the hard work this man does.

Maybe it's because it's 3am and I have a super busy day tomorrows, but I found this vid very enjoyable.

My nephew just made captain in December. He’d been a mate for a few years now.. he’s on a tug pushing a tanker barge . He sales from Texas to New England and back.. 3 weeks on 3 weeks off… working on being a harbor pilot..

Must admit, if I was a young teen again looking at this I would be looking into how this could be possible for myself! This video will help give career ideas for younger generations that might not want to go into office work wanting a be practical and skilled career to be proud of. As an adult, I am enjoying watching these wonderful machines at work and respect to those working these powerful things which are beasts. Now I am curious on what steps you took to operate one of these tugs out of curiosity. KZhead recommended a gem right here.

Super video :) It was really interesting, the whole crew and how the tugboat works, it's all about a coordination, cooperation and communication I'm a pilot so this is close to what I doo espacially whan I'm on the big civil airfields :)

I'm currently doing my cadetship service on a tanker. I'm on my first 6 month contract and after seeing the first few tugboats I've been researching them ever since. My goal is to now speedrun my career to Captain's papers and try get on a tugboat. What's the best/fastest way to get myself on a tugboat ? Could I do it with chief mate papers ? I'm from the UK. Thanks !

Hard to tell for sure so maybe you could explain what you are doing with the ship. This one looked like you were spinning it 180 off the dock. Is the job paid by the hour or by the job?
