I remember I had many friends when I “acted” a certain way. Now that I started being myself, I lost many of those friends. I tried to befriend them back and become friends with others, but no one gave me their same energy. I was sad and depressed for a while, but I did find some people who respected me for who I am. I am currently a Junior in highschool, I used to be afraid to be alone during lunch or passing periods, but now, I don’t give a single fuck. I’m going to grind, I believe that I am alone for a reason. I’m different from everyone else, and I believe that I was put into this position for a reason. Even for the few friends I made, I’m not going to be dependent on them for happiness or company, fuck it, I don’t need them either. I’m going to be successful, and I’m going to get things my own way, no matter what stands in front of me. I believe that every day is a battle you have to face, a choice to make, for the better or worse. I’m going to be better, no matter how hard it is. STAY. FUCKING. I needed this. I often forget or rather don't give myself credit for all I do and have accomplished. I live with 3 chronic illness, but I don't take a victim mentality. I still work full-time live alone and maintain my independence. I do what I can with what my body allows me to. It's about time rather than beat myself up an I give myself credit and own up to all that I do.

I'm fifty, very much a lone wolf now.....I've run 5 Snowdonia Marathons, I mountainbike, I kayak, learning to windsurf and then snowboard next. I do these things alone.....and that's ok.
