We love Michael Singer’s work. As long as he and KZhead allow us to post these videos, we will.
We do not receive ad revenue from these videos, but KZhead may.
If you would like to learn more about Michael Singer’s work, here are a few suggestions: - Every Sunday, Monday & Thursday, he releases talks at www.tou.org. - Every Sunday, Monday & Thursday night, he gives a live talk at his Temple of the Universe in Alachua, Florida. Anyone can attend for free.
He’s written several books. They are phenomenal, even the ones written in the seventies. (We will receive a commission if you purchase books through these links.)

If you’re wondering what Mickey’s saying at the beginning and end of each talk, it is:
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.
Thank you for visiting. Peace, my friend.

  • I have been practising Singer's teachings for 7 years. I have already achieved a great deal of growth. I hope I get to experience the kind of calm and joy that Michael describes in this lifetime.

    • After 4 years of hard times I started his practices and advice and am so much better today. I’ve always been a motivated and mentally tough person but life can beat you down and if you let it or don’t have some of these tools life can become relentless unforgiving.

  • Seats of Contemplation Have you listened to the 8 part series on Sounds True? 2 hours on mind, 1 hour on heart. Progressive series. I listened to it many times.

    • I have. In fact, that series is when I discovered I could relate more to his talks than to his books. Although I love the books, I sometimes get lost reading the books, whereas his talks completely captivate me!

  • In regards to what Michael says at the beginning of his talks, I’m guessing that it is short for ‘Jai Guru Deva. ‘ I also was very puzzled and curious about that so I did some research. Jai - glory to, hail, joy. Guru - remover of darkness. Deva - a shining one, Divine. To sum this all up, it means, ‘Glory to the shining remover of darkness .’ I got this info from Thom Knoles’ website and it makes sense to me. It sounds like Michael is saying Jaigrdev. Could this be short for Jai Guru Deva? It is a guess though! ❤

  • I’m confused when he says goal can that be something like making 100k graduating college getting a girlfriend etc? Wouldn’t that be a want/desire I thought he talked against and that you can be happy right and u don’t need anything else

    • Yea. Is the polestar only “inner” spiritual? Or is it “I want to be a banker on Wall Street” “I want to win the Super Bowl” “I want to have a big house with 8 kids.”

      @connorkilleen931@connorkilleen93114 күн бұрын
    • I think ultimately he’s talking about something higher because he describes your Polestar as the greatest part of your being that you’ve ever glimpsed, even if only seen for one second. The job, house, money, kids, etc could all be points along the path or physical manifestations of a higher spiritual goal. He also says you identify your Polestar at your most clear moments and you can only do as good as you can do, based on your level of clarity. It’s possible that right now based on your clarity, you see the job, house, money, kids, etc and not the whole path. That’s fine as long as you’re not choosing these based on fear or desire. As you become more clear, you’ll identify the higher path. • Polestar is reaching a state of unconditional joy and peace. He often says “ pure ecstasy”
