UAB vs #22 UTSA THRILLING Ending | 2021 College Football
The college football game between UAB and UTSA had a thrilling ending as UTSA was able to preserve their undefeated season with a game winning touchdown in the final seconds. UAB took a 31-27 lead with five minutes left, and stopped UTSA on the next drive. UTSA was able to force a three and out and got the ball back with under one minute left, down 31-27. They somehow drove 80 yards down the field and scored the game winning touchdown with just three seconds left. The craziest part is the pass was tipped into the hands of the receiver who was in the right place at the right time. UTSA defeated UAB 34-31 and improved to 11-0 on the season.

Being at the game was spectacular! That was the loudest it has been at the Alamodome since the spurs won the nba championship. Also so hard to believe that this is UTSAs 10th year having a football program!
I was there too and I had the best seat in the house at section 210 also after the game was crazy I got so many autographs and pictures and gloves too it was mad one of the loudest football games I’ve ever been to

That's why football is called a game of inches. UAB was literal inches from that first down.
What’s crazy is, in the game winning touchdown not only did the quarterback drop the snap and quickly recover, but the ball was tipped by UAB, and it was still caught for a touchdown!! WOW!!

I don’t care what the committee says. Good teams figure out how to win games. You only have to lead by one, and you only need to lead when the clock hits zero. That’s tough to do 11 times in a row.
Not when every team you play would be the worst team in the SEC west and Big 10 east. It’s not that hard for a good team to beat significantly inferior teams. UAB lost 56-7 vs Georgia. They also got Destroyed by Liberty.

I was there and I have watched like 10 times and stillget goosebumps….. I feel sorry for the people who left when UAB scored the last touchdown…… they missed the big comeback
This season for UTSA is exactly the sort of thing that makes me wish every FBS team had a path to the national championship. If it was up to me, they'd have to win their conference championship game. Then play the champion of the MWC. Then they play the winner between the champion of the MAC and the Sun Belt. If they make it that far, they play against an at large team that didn't play in their conference championship game but was still ranked very high. After that, at this point in time, I'd have their path go through the winner between the AAC champ and the Big 12 champ. And finally the national championship game. That's how I would do it. Granted, they're undefeated against relatively weak competition. But how exciting would it be if they could keep winning for a little while against steadily better competition? I want to see how far they can go at the end of the season. I don't want them to finish the season undefeated with a pat on the head. I'm happy for UTSA though. This is a great send-off season from C-USA and it will give them a boost going into the AAC.
Problem is that's a lot of games to play. What sucks is every now and then a team like this has a dream season and could compete with top talent. Another problem is in between the dream seasons in your scenario they would get wiped out. I am a Memphis fan and when we were up 21 to 0, and then y'all came back and won on the last play, that ruined our season.. now it doesn't look so bad. But at the time, it was a bad loss for us, especially after being up by 21. Seemed to kick start you guys. Good luck the rest of the way!
@@nicholassutton8210 alabama beat arkansas by 7 today. just saying. beat florida by 2. lost to an unranked A&M. currently 2nd in the country. oregan ranked #3 gets crushed by utah. #7 michigan state got absolutely demolished by a team 3 spots higher than them. the rankings rn are nuts (and honestly awful) so i’d say it’s just not fair to have any undefeated fbs team not in the top 15. the rankings clearly aren’t accurate anyways
