10 Most Amazing Mayan Ruins - Travel Video

2024 ж. 16 Мам.
207 679 Рет қаралды

For almost a millennium, the ancient ruins of great architecture lay buried beneath the jungle vegetation on the Yucatan Peninsula. Abandoned by their creators these ancient temples and pyramids are a stunning reminder of a powerful civilization that once ruled the people of Central America. Although the accomplishments of the ancient Mayans are astonishing, no city would escape the inevitable collapse. One by one they were swallowed by the rainforest leaving the amazing Mayan ruins hidden, waiting to be discovered.

  • Okay, so basically I think am not the only one wants to travel to the YUCATAN PENINSULA right now, just to see this amazing architecture. That was very awesome to watch. Thank you.

  • Second video I have seen on this channel, and I must say, I really enjoy them, especially the rhythm of the editing. Meaning, how the narrator introduces each spot, says some key facts about it, then lets the video tell the rest. The dialog is, roughly, in the first half of each spot and then just stops, brilliant, simply brilliant. A great feel, timing and like I said, rhythm to these videos, bravo.

  • I remember my wife and I skinny dipping @ the beach at Tulum in the 80's before there was much else there. The tourists would all arrive by bus from Cancun about 10:00 in the morning but if you stayed at the ONLY crummy hotel in town you had the place to yourself for the best part of the day. the beach was always deserted. My favorite tho is Uxmal, good hotel there too.

  • Uxmal should be on this list instead of Coba. Better construction and condition. The pyramid of the dwarf is way more impressive than anything at Coba. - The big temple at Coba is crumbling away. It's not safe and they won't let you climb it. Also, if you come on the bus from Valladolid, it's hard to get back. All the buses out of Coba go to Tulum. Uxmal's better, Ek' Balam near Valladolid is better.

    • The Americas and the Natives of the Americas, have never been given the credit and truth they deserve. The so called "experts", especially the one's from USA, have always shown so much disdain and disrespect for the Americas history and it's ppl. The Americas r as old as the earth, it's getting harder to hide the truth. Since DNA and new dating techniques, it's becoming more obvious that the Americas could have and probably did influence world history. The oldest mummies in the world r in the Americas, not Egypt. The biggest pyramid in the world is in Mexico, not Egypt. The oldest mummies in Egypt, share DNA with the oldest mummies in the Americas, who's oldest human fossils are from Asia, not Egypt or Africa, some people think Egypt is in Asia, geographically, it looks like it is in Asia.
