Steve does have that rare gift to speak to the kids without sounding to patronising or cringy. He's good I will give him that. It's not easy making that connection witj children you either have it or you don't it should be organic.

This is one of the happiest videos I have EVER SEEN. Left me feeling absolutely ELATED. Everything abt it - his bandmates, ManMan, this DARLING little boy with a gleam in his eyes - I've never seen anything so precious. Think of all the innocent children just trying to do good, bring good and go after their dreams, that we've lost. We need ppl in power who will protect these children so they can grow up. I certainly hope & 🙏 that he is able to live a happy, fruitful, prosperous Loooong life and take full advantage of that scholarship. 🎓 🎼 🥁

Wow! It's one thing for his family to nurture his gift, but for schools he doesn't even belong to to nurture his gift, I LOVE THIS!! God bless each of these people for supporting him and nurturing his gift. And for him to alteady have a full scholarship at the age of 5, this is nothing short of amazing!

Definitely an amazingly gifted 5yr old drummer! And he is adorable!! I presume this is an older video. I admit I miss Steve Harvey on TV. His timing and facial expressions are beyond compare. He has a special gift. I wish there was a way we could sign a petition and send it to someone with enough sense to realize the public wants to see Mr Harvey's special auto encourage smiles and happiness- especially during such troubling times.

This little boy is just adorable. Some children just have that natural ability to play music. My cousin was ten years old playing the guitar with no training. He learned to play from all on his own. He started out with a toy guitar to a regular guitar to a electric guitar. He was brilliant and had his own band. The saddest day of my life was he died in a car accident. He was only 17 years old. I hope this young little man has a great future in music. They say if you can play one instrument you can learn to play many more. I'm sure he is taking music lessons which I think every child should. I wish I had a chance to learn music. I always wanted to play the piano. I guess I could have learned but never did. Parents make your children take music lessons. Learning how to play just one instrument can be rewarding to a child.
You are never too old to learn to play instrument. I joined a drumming circle in my late 30's, and we use to perform at festivals and events - lots of fun. Yes, its true once you learn one instrument its easier to pick up another one. Although, kick drums, I have to say is the hardest , you need a lot of co-ordination and timing has to be 100%.
