I don’t even farm and now I want one. Incredible demonstration
$20,000 and you can have one... got a question though... if you get one, can I come watch?
me aswell can i join lol @@noel1933
Im just here for my military report.@@noel1933
less than a car. worth it!@@noel1933
I’m gonna use one to wash cars.
The engineering here is amazing. Just super cool! I want one of these agridrones and I don’t even have a farm 😂
No need to have a farm, in many countries where farmers don't own huge farmland, they call and book the aerial spraying operations from local agri companies instead of buying an expensive agri drone. The drone operator just completes spraying one place and drive to the next farm. 😂
没农场也没事,买来上战场用😂
You can actually buy one or two and start a family business
DJI
That’s some amazing drone and mix of everyday agriculture technology. Hats off to the Chinese DJI manufacturers and this American farmer for making this video. I own the DJI M300 for construction mapping and earthwork volume computations and love it. This Chinese DJI firm are focused on production for anyone who wants to use their drones. Great video!!!
❤❤❤i come from vietnam, drone is very useful for small and medium sized agriculture, drone brings effective value to farmers in my hometown, and i am operating DJI AGRAS T40 to serve farmers my hometown
please tell me more! Why is better than people doing the job?
@@niggemkajatt1981 because number 1 it is efficient and number 2 it nevers get tired
I've recently bought a DJI mini drone just for fun but these are truly amazing with endless applications.Only thing is the chemical pump looks a bit unsecured (i understand its under development)but absolutely blowen away with this tech. This would do well here in Australia.

when the drone stoped and started coming back, it just looked sureal something we use to see in sifi movies and now this is part of our world...
Normal, that's DJI, the best of the best
I'd been curious about this drone, and this video is pretty great. Goes into a lot of detail without being info overloaded.
Simple explanation yet full of information. You done a splendid job sir
Very cool. Another 5 years of innovation and improvements you won’t need a human aside from loading water and perhaps chemicals.
Honestly a goal to be at the point in life where this is a necessary tool
We support this goal.
Got DJI Mavic, there’s no peer. DJI is awesome.
There is lots of peers. But apparently u are on the dji peer. They are merely a name brand that everyone knows, it's like buying land o lakes milk vs a store brand milk

@@2010fishyfish You mean those $100 drone from Amazon? Yes I bought it for my 6 years old son and he knows it's not a real drone.
Ah man, I want to go buy a farm just so I can use one of these drones, very cool.
ditto 😁
So crazy, this is a game changer for small farmers. Great video. I know what I’m asking Santa to get for me.
Small farmers can’t afford toys like this! Also this technology is war away from cost and time efficiency still way better doing it yourself… batteries die fast only 50L hard to get parts and is crazy expensive
@@dincherremziev9436 rent one help you.
@Dincher Remziev saying the person who probably can't afford the 30 pound drones from tesco supermarket 😂😂😂
@Dincher Remziev I can almost guarantee 80% of "small farmers" have a spare 20k for one of those drones too ya twit
@@GoneFishing24 It's not that they don't have money for it, but that it doesn't offer any added value economically.
The next logical step DJI could do is to make an automatic refill system? that would be a gamechanger, if it can swap out batteries too :)
Never realized how fast those batteries could charge, WOW!
I have been having some reservations about the t40 but this video has helped clearedall my doubts and fears. Thanks guys
Don't do it

Amazing! im used to be in the aircraft sparying in the 90s now im watching this and im just stocked! really impressive, Im looking forward to start a mapping bussines in EU , and droped here, thanks
This is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Hi. I am watching you from Zambia in Southern Africa. I really enjoy what you teaching us.
Absolutely incredible tech. This has the potential to change farming in the same way that the tractor did. Wow
congratulations for the videos! They are great! Is it possible for one person to control two drones at the same time?
Awesome video and awesome drone! A thought: An integrated package with tank and battery that the drone could pick up and put down by itself would make this next level. Perhaps a platform it could be dropped on that would automatically connect power and hose. A small internal battery for making the hop from drop off to pick up and a set of three of those next to each other, than the drone could basically operate completely on its own. Wouldn't even have to stop the blades.
Love DJI. This is awesome
I live in central NC, very interested in this. I flew drones at the sheriff's office before retiring in 2021. They are force multipliers!
Presentation is very proffestional, as is the DJI unit. Amazing
Great job thanks for explaining the setup and routes and the features of the drone
Thank you for the detailed and informative video. I was wondering if you have developed a financial model to offer this as a service. You were talking about efficiency and the rate of spraying etc. Wondering if you have developed an Excel template or something similar to do any financial analysis. Thank you again.
incredible. Humanity's innovation is impressive.
I haven't seen all the videos yet but am interested in how you track maintenance intervals. There are reporting requirements in most exemptions I've seen for monthly input on flights, or even if zero flights. So I imagine there is a way to track number if flights, flight time and of course calendar intervals (most of them at 6 months IIRC). It would be nice to be able to see how you have that set up, beyond just flying it and showing its delivery capabilities.
Wipe it with a rag.
i dont have an agras , i had an old dji phantom but with the phantom in the dji app , everytime you flight the app records the flight data , so probably this machine being modern and more expsive probably records too all the data to review and schedoule maintenance
@ fly it in the rain to clean lol
Great video! Thank you Very much for sharing!
I'm glad he unfolded his controller antennas before it got too far away ;-)
that aint a drone, thats a work horse!
I haven't finished watching the video but I already know that's full of useful infos. Congratulations, it has been hard to find out good videos about DJI Agras' products.
That’s an excellent use for an industrial drone. Bigger is definitely better. Maybe a larger drone will be approved in the future with the payload capacity of a small manned airplane….something like surplus global hawk war birds.
Larger drones will always come along - it's only a matter of money :)
Great video alot of info I have a DJI Mini 2 alot of difference thanks for showing us
Great Chinese product. DJI is the best. Brilliant !!!
Thanks for the great demo, Guys - very well done.
Does it make adjustments for cross winds? This looks to be a very calm day.
When a redneck breeds with is tech dork...you have this guy . 😂
You guys can scale adequately by storing and validating all this data by running a metagraph on constellation network (Air Force blockchain). The future is here and these drones are phenomenal!
thank you so much for fruit full practice.
Nice set up and logistics, greetings from Ecuador colleagues!
Interesting. Saw one today outside Urbana, Ohio. Right next to the bike path we were riding on, as it flew right at us. I was fairly positive it wasn't going over us, it did stop and head back. And fortunately, we were up wind. Being a tech guy, I assumed it was GPS guided and autonomous. Which begs the question, when using this near populated areas, it doesn't know if people/pets/animals are nearby. Our local farmers will stop spraying in their high rigs if walkers or cyclists go by and they're attentive to wind direction.
I understand your concerns! But 99.99 US farms are located outside commuter traffic. You are right, nobody wants to be sprayed to sickness! This video is all about how technology can make it easy and profitable for every farmer anywhere.Anyway, so long as our brother/ sister has the remote in their hands, we are safe! Big bike is bigger obstacle than a big tree! The operator can cut the spray anytime!
It's the law for a licensed applicator to halt when people are near. I guess with this people need to just watch out for it. Danger Danger Danger
OMG. This is so good. Everyone wants to be a farmer after this.
This is not farming. Just adding chemicals to the food. :D But cool toy anyway
This is just a toy no any practical use. Too slow too expensive etc.
@@bobsnabby2298 You mean big sprayers are quick and cheap?
@@AmisCorollawas thinking the same, making it easier to put chemicals in the food we eat, innovation would be better used for if it was making us healthier not the other way around
When will the autonomous refill and battery exchange come along?
That's the koolest thing I EVER seen!!
Saw it in Trinidad 🇹🇹 game changer
I just got a DJI mini 4 and watching training videos led me to this video. I must say, you have very good presentation and sales skill. I was locked in on this video. You were direct and comfortable. If I had a farm and needed this I would insta-buy. What a great use of technology mixed into the agriculture industry.
Could you do a more through walk through of your batching setup? And a price point. New to drone and an automated system would be perfect.
AWESOME!!!
This is really interesting and professional setup & explanation
I learned a lot from this video, thank you.
Could you adjust your home point while the drones in flight? As the rows are getting further from the take off, could you drive closer to where the drones working and have it come back to there instead? Looks very useful
Hello. I am a farmer with a t40. when in open fields i land the drone near the point it finished the spraying tank. then drive to the new position and fill and change batteries. we don't do it every time but when there is a considerable distance we prefer to do that to achieve more coverage and save on energy/batteries.
@@xreneox thanks for that info
very interesting demo
Great video and cool-setup. What is ballpark total cost for the set-up (trailer/generator/mixer/drone/charging system)? Would you ever consider operating 2 drones with this set-up? Would you need a bigger generator or just more batteries? Thanks!
50k US
i come from vietnam, drone is very useful for small and medium sized agriculture, drone brings effective value to farmers in my hometown, and i am operating DJI AGRAS T40 to serve farmers my hometown
In China, the selling price of DJI T40 is approximately $8000
Are the fan power motors designed as to cool without outside air circulation.......as to prevent atomized chemical to build up in motors ?..... thank you very much for your field demo.......very interesting
good video and good drone! Can you tell me please where you bought the cap for the filling nozzle?
very well thought out demonstration, if I drone needs in the future I will contact you 100%
Looks Good - great use of drone - I would think saving in tractor fuel and wear on field and tractor is large
Wow! Your work is amazing. I’d really love to have a job like this! Awesome!
What are the Part 107 regulations that apply, like BVLOS and the 55lb limit - can these all be waivered by the FAA?
I would like to see more than one drone work together.
Nice product but anti-glare screen would have been nice on the controller.
The tiny amount of effort it would take to weaponize something like this is astounding.
NO mod needed with a bad chemical or bio hazard,, is scary thought
I like the way you're thinking!
any organisation who could afford 100 or so of these could use them like a swarm of XL locusts to ruin a harvest
from the future.. we already got drone wars.. currently .. dji is sold like toyota.. and they take stance like toyota..sell it to everyone ..
Are they practical for herbicides also? Do herbicides require more gallons per acre?
Great video.Thanks
This is so sick!
That’s amazing.
What size farm does it take to make this more cost efficient than a crop duster ?
This is super cool but as someone who grew up on a farm I feel like this is way more of a pain in the ass than using a driving sprayer and much less efficient. none the less very impressive machine.
Imagine give this drone to a 600yrs guy back In time 😌 Just excellent
my university have two t40, it is so big and so amazing when i watched them
Very impressive.
We need to upgrade to a high-clearance sprayer on our small farm; this seems to be just the answer. The price is on par with a used entry level HC sprayer. Unfortunately, most of the herbicides we use require 5-gal/acre minimums. Liberty, for instance. Any plans for a larger version of this drone?
The new T60 can carrying 15.8 gallons, one takeoff can cover 3minimums。
amazing
Amazing work
What about battery work life on your RC? Do you have as another RC available with you. The RC doesn't have battery swap does it?
amazing!! this is the future!
That is so cool!
How many charges are those batteries rated? I’ve seen the faster the batteries charge the less charge cycles before the battery reaches its end life. 10.5 gallons of fertilizer solution is more than 85 lbs. that means there is a lot of energy required just to hover.
Do use rtk in this setup or is it not required?
very cool! 👋
Great video!
I liked this quick supply cover for the drone, does anyone know where I can buy it?
😯 Amazing
Amazing technology. How do your drones handle uneven terrain? Our ranch has a lot of hills and some steep terrain.
This is awesome! I've been thinking of working for myself again but not knowing what has been a problem. I live in the country here in Australia where farming is the main industry. I had wondered about the cost per acre, number of acres per day etc if it would be a viable thing to set up & be a contractor? A very informative video, thank you!
Wow that’s amazing. Well done guys 💐
Your work is done in 24 minutes...go home to drink coffee and watch TV
simply and fantastik +1
Very nice 👏 Good job 🤝
Very cool! I think the 6 minute takeoff to takeoff will get slower and slower as the drone gets further into the field and has to travel back to the trailer from further away and get back to where it left off. Still awesome tho.
Amzing drone for using.
with a downfacing camera you should be able to have a landing pad, kind of like a QR code, that it recognizes and orients to so that automated landing is easier. Want it to land further up the trailer, just move that landing pad place mat....
As a T20 pilot this is a huge upgrade especially the arm locks 😂
I wonder how the price compares to the old way of small plane passes. What’s cheaper ?
About how much does this set up cost? Trailer, drone, batteries, chargers, coolers, generators, and chemical tanks/pumps?
Hola ingeniero no ablo mucho inglesh pero al ber el video es una maravilla thanks 👍👍👍
I have an opportunity to do this, but was wondering what sort of heavy lifting the chemicals involve. Spine injury prevents too much lifting.
With regard to walking between the blades to reload the tank. Is there a safety shield that could be used to create a safe barrier in case this drone malfunctioned and the blades started?
