I kinda wish that instead of an interact-able plushie, it was a plush that you heat up in the microwave and use as a hot pad. Still a very cute idea!

- I agree, yes I know warmies exist but they don’t have the “baking” part you just buy them, I have a warmies that smells like lavender and can warm up, I struggle with cramps from a disorder and it gives me a bit of comfort but I use a normal head ting pad then snuggle the warmies.

- I have one of those you remove the hot pad from the inside and heat it then put the pack back inside and it warms the plush. This is more like a few seconds of warmth like the disposable handwarmers that you place inside your gloves when its really chilly outside

- I believe when the tab is pulled and then the "oven door" closes; the plunking sound is there meaning the shelf drops down revealing the plush

- @@MomoBunBun We used to have a Netherland Dwarf named Hop. And he was absolutely adorable!! I'd never seen the fascination with having rabbits as pets but I was bowled over with the cuteness. The stomping of the feet. Sitting on my shoulder. Nibbling the button off of my remote control quicker than I could blink. Jumping off of the dogs side so the dog would chase it around the garden. Just so much cuteness. And bun bun is so fitting for you considering your name, lol 🥰😂

- @@louiseb6111 our bunny is super tiny but so sassy. Like I’m pretty sure he feeds on chaos. He likes chasing the cats around or the puppy. He also tries to start fights with the chinchilla 🤦🏻‍♀️ Bunnies are adorable as heck but they are a lot more work than people think! And for something that is supposed to be this shy scared prey animal, well no one told them that they were supposed to be that way!

This is a really cute concept. However, I wish there were more plush options, because unless the molds and plushies are random and you happened to unbox a cat and cat, the surprise goes away quickly. It would be nice to at least have 2 choices of each animal so you don’t automatically know which one you’ll get with the mold. Besides there’s a lot baked items out there, so it’s not like they’ve run out of themes

- having grown up raising rabbits, they can and will scream. its an alarming, shrill noise somewhere in between a human esq scream and a squealing pig. not really a 'vocal' noise but they also will puff at you when mad, like snorting? (then they do lil stompies)

This is why I don't recommend QR instructions. I know you've encouraged them before in your reviews but they almost never work and it costs extra money for the companies to keep them up. So older products will not keep them

- That mixed with not everyone has a device that can scan QR codes. My moms phone she’s had for awhile Couldn’t and any app that claimed to never worked on her phone. And not everyone has a smart phone which scanning a QR code needs, there was a time when all we could afford is those prepaid phones

- Exactly! The same with toys that work with an app. After a couple of years, the URL and the app no longer exists, and you can't really use the thing. At least this toy has printed colour instructions with it too.

Fondant is like edible clay for cake. Its mostly used as long flat sheets even though I'm refering to it as clay

- You're also not necessarily supposed to eat it, it's decorative and doesn't taste like anything. That one character having "fondant" as a flavor is bizarre.

- @snowfox102 I would argue that it is supposed to be eaten (as it is an edible solid frosting) but it doesn’t have the most nuanced flavor that you get from regular frosting. Often or not the flavor you’re getting from it is “sweet” because sugar is usually the only major flavoring , and if you use a thick layer it’s very much borderline saccharine with how intense it came be. Whenever I use fondant I usually try to pair it with a frosting with a fruitier note to it or something to help reduce its intensity and add a bit of flavor variety, or at least use one with a bit more nuance like cream cheese frosting so it doesn’t get lost in it.

- reading people from other countries talk about fondant makes me sad here in Venezuela fondant is usually flavorised and very good, actually, normally it's mantecado (the "vanilla" of Venezuela, though it doesn't taste like vanilla, imo mantecado is much better lmao)

From what I know, cinnamon is SPICY! Even cinnamon fragrances can be irritating, so it's a tricky smell to incorporate into something that's gonna be touching your body, especially if it's intended for the little ones.

- yes! This is why in soap making, if you want to make a "cinnamon" soap you should NEVER use actual cinnamon. (it can also ruin the setting process!)

All cinnamon scents used in most things you buy (body soaps and things you put on you including perfumes, and scented candles) usually use an artificially made "cinnamon" smell that smells similar enough but will not irritate you. Cinnamon is a natural irritant and many are actually allergic to it

I was hoping for the ciacatta loaf and the strawberry bun-bun. I was so delighted that both showed up. Those are pretty cute for a (EDIT) $50CAD interactive "craft" toy. My expectations of crafty toys are pretty darned low so these weren't bad.

for their price, vs how magic mixies were, these are pretty good. sure, th plushies themselves could have more details (embroidered faces, bread details, pawprints, etc) but then that'd rack up the price for it. It sucks, but for a 'cheap' toy to entertain young ones, plus an oven they can play with afterwards? and the warmth is really nice to cuddle with and feel happy, will it warm you or a kid? maybe not, but it's not warming up to keep you warm (this isn't little inferno afterall!) but it can still be quite soothing to have somehting warm to cuddle. will have to talk to my fam and see about getting this for some of my neice and nephew

- I would've loved a bunny honk too-- Honestly, this video had me totally sold on getting one up until the very end... snoring, no matter how fake, is one of my major misophonia triggers. Now I'm torn as to whether or not I should just suck it up and deal with that lol. (Cut to future me yeeting the toy across the room in a misophonia-induced rage /j ...nah, I couldn't yeet something that cute)

They seem pretty fun, but for a one-time thing, the oven seems like a lot of plastic. If they intended the dough to be used again and again, there should be something to do with it later. I like the plushies, they are really cute, but I think the print could be more detailed - or maybe ads sone of the details embroidered or something.

Idea is cute, replayability too. Resealable bag is good, other any toy companies could include it, especially when toys have little accessories. Other than that, I'd see some kids might get bored with this, especially if forget to really close the bag.

I am curious if the oven can actually be reset. Like does it click back into place so you can 'bake' again? If so, then this is a great product!

- I was thinking that, too - that you could reuse it as a magic oven. I'm thinking the rods keep the lower compartment from dropping down, but since you also raise it to reclaim the dough, I think you could put something in the upper compartment, raise it up, put something else into the lower, set the timer, and voila! You have a metamorphosis box.

- I own a couple of these and yes, they can be reset! There are instructions that come with the oven telling you how to place the plushie back up in the upper compartment.

Here's an idea for the oven! You can use the oven in a play kitchen ! Well it's not big enough to be a full size oven. Maybe a countertop air fryer? But then again it would also depend on how tall your kid is.

They are adorable, and I'm a sucker for a scented toy. But here in Australia they're AU$60-80 depending on the store. I definitely didn't just go on a Google deep dive to find out how much cheaper and better it would be to buy similar products without the gimmick. Plastic kitchen with interactive lights, sounds and/or water tap: about AU$45. Scented plush toy: $6+ depending on how fancy you want to get. Plush toy with a microwavable heat pack (or heat pack with a plush animal cover): starting from AU$5 but let's say AU$20 for a nice one PlayDoh food set (if making the bread mould was your favourite part): AU$25ish each Scented dough: from AU$2 (there's even scented glitter dough that you can reuse over and over again, I love Kmart Australia for their sensory toys). Toy microwave with lights, sounds etc: AU$15 (I could also find toy stand mixers, coffee makers etc for similar prices, but ovens in particular seemed to be only part of the wooden play kitchens that get much more elaborate and expensive). If you've already got the original Magic Mixies play cauldron, you could use that for the surprise switch-and-bait reveal mechanism, if that's their favourite part. I think it was that, the one where the bowl flips upside down to reveal a plush toy attached underneath.

Those are so cute! I had something like that a while ago it was called warmies I think, I have the fluffy dog One and all you had to do was microwave it for about 30 seconds and it was super warm and you could sleep with it on a cold night! I loved it except for it smelled really bad Considering it was supposed to be sented like lavender,

For savory I'd want the barky bun. For the sweet, it needs to be the strawberry swirl. Here's the thing about fetch though is sometimes the irrecedes don't work because they don't look like receipts so the program doesn't see them as receipts. That's the only thing I have against the fetch app. I have it myself. I love it but do know that if you do only have your ereceipts you're going to have a little bit of a problem.

My rescue cat actually got thrown out a moving truck window as a kitten and has brain damage from it, he has a head tilt and one squinty blind eye. Your wonky eyed dough kitty made me think of him and I love it. ❤
