First: Study of old sponges from deep in the Caribbean Sea are causing some researchers to think human-caused climate change began earlier than scientists have thought. If the findings are correct, then world temperatures are increasing faster than United Nations’ estimates suggest. Gregory Stachel and Gena Bennett report.
Next: The rise in private American space missions has led to increasing calls for rules on what can be transported to the moon. Bryan Lynn reports on the issue and the debate it has raised.
And finally: Faith Pirlo and John Russell present the LE report Everyday Grammar. They discuss the many ways to say goodbye in American English on Faith's final Everyday Grammar report. Then, Faith joins Ashley in the studio where they share some funny phrases that mean goodbye.
