The season where United did not lose a single UCL game. They were a force to be reckoned with.
As remarkable as that was winning the champions league without losing a game, between sept 2007 to may 2009 in the champions league, utd played 26 games in the champions league, only losing 1 which was the 2009 final, they had a 25 game unbeaten run in the champions league, i think that still stands today
MU, Bayern and Barca were in the same group then MU n Bayern played the final game on Barca's home stadium, what a night
I always get goose bumps watching this treble season back.
There are plenty clubs in the world that have the word "UNITED" in their club's name. But if you say only the word "UNITED", the first team that come up to your mind is the red devil club. Because this is the SPECIAL UNITED. THIS IS *MANCHESTER UNITED!!*
This is up there as one of the greatest champions league winning runs, from the first group game to winning the trophy, they played against some of the greatest European teams filled with football legends, undefeated aswell.
