  • 5:28 , on Android you can swipe right from the bottom right of your screen, or activate Google Assistant in some way. Then click on "Search Screen", which will scan the text on your screen and make it selectable. You can then select the Korean text, then click the Google Translate popup that appears (same popup that shows Copy etc.). This way, you can translate the Korean text to English.

This is an off-topic, but may I know if we can have a DIY trip to Nami Island, Gangchon Rail Bike and Garden of The Morning Calm using public transportation? I have been constantly researching, but I could only find booked tours. We’d like to explore these places at our own pace, so we’d like to know if it is actually doable. Thank you very much in advance for your reply!😊🙇‍♀️

  • Naver and kakao map are commonly uesd map among Koreans, they provides many optimised service and like search engine, email, sns chat, map, foods, transportations, they build up strong local platforms for many years, you can use them with Korean language only, it is not a good things for foreigners. As for google map, it is good in Korea but not competitive with Naver and Kakao now but gains its market share one by one.
