It's always a sad event when a great long adventure must come to an end. I to have enjoyed your journey knowing I will never tour that part of Australia. But I have toured the western shores of the Gulf of Carpentaria, NT, twice. I am preparing for possibly my last tour of the Gulf, leaving mid June, going by myself with a little puppy called Penny who refuses to let me out of her sight. We will sleep on board full time, not ashore like you have done. Cheers.

Been lucky enough to do a number of trips out that way from Derby starting back in the early 90’s. Biggest trip was up as far as Prince Fredrick harbour and return. Had fuel dumped at Coppermine Creek and Kuri Bay, trip was done in a couple of plate boats..be back again one day😊
