  • Sorry, i dissagree. Russia is completely allowed to ask who put the terrorists up to it - and they are hitmen not terrorists, they did it for money, terrorists do it for martydom - so thats the first problem with the whole scenario. With 50 years of history of inteligence agencies fiddling in other countries business, with Germany and the rest unable to produce their reports on Noordsteam why shouldnt Russia be suspicious? They should look deeper into who planned the attacks, if they dont, it may happen again. Just because someone stood up and said it was them does not mean it was them and does raise the question of what their motivation was. Where does the Isis video come from, who made it, how was it received, what evidence is there to link the video to the attacks, who is to say someone did not pay Isis to stand up and take the blame ? That video is after all just a bunch of blokes with face coverings on and a flag behind them making statements..... thats not proof of a single thing, that video could of been shot by anyone anywhere, its not proof of anything. There are still too many unanswered questions and to suggest Russia just accept it because others wont question it in the detail it requires is farsicle. As for the terrorists being beaten up, shame, like i said, they did it for payment and that makes them murderers not terrorists, their motivation was money offered by someone or other.

  • Ever since Putin was warned by the West of a high liklihood of a terrorist attack on Moscow, Putin had planned to use the fear and anger that such an attack would generate to solidify his political support and enhance his depiction of himself as the savior of the Russian Empire. He hoped that a terrorist attack would take the focus off of his disastrous handling of the illegal war he conducted against Ukraine. He'll have to go back to the drawing board now and try to come up with new scapegoats and bogey men.

  • I am writing to express my deepest sorrow and condolences for the recent tragic events that unfolded in Moscow. The unexpected gun shooting and bomb firing attacks on fellow citizens attending a theatre celebration in a large hall have left me utterly devastated. It is truly heartbreaking to hear about such senseless acts of violence perpetrated by extremist rebels. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this incredibly difficult time. The loss and suffering caused by these reprehensible actions are unimaginable. I want to extend my sincerest sympathies to the people of Russia as they mourn the loss of their loved ones and grapple with the aftermath of this tragedy. May they find strength, solace, and unity in the face of adversity. In times like these, it is crucial for us to stand together in solidarity against terrorism and extremism. I believe that by fostering understanding, compassion, and cooperation, we can overcome such challenges and build a safer, more peaceful world for future generations. Please convey my heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this tragedy. I hope that justice will be served, and that steps will be taken to follow up and prevent before such atrocities occurring

    • That was also wrong and completely indefensible. And a clear demonstration that if you torture people, they'll tend to tell you want they think you want to hear, rather than the actual truth, just in the hopes you'll stop the torture. But given ISIS' normal MO of "martyrdom" and self immolation, these people escaping after nearly an hour and a half and then being captured alive just rings hollow. Are they the actual killers, or just four guys of the right ethnicity plucked from obscurity so that the the russian public has someone to stone? No one is ever going to know the truth.

Death, more so than breath -- breath being a hopeful sign, that life means more than being confined. Life in prison; what's to be said for life, outside of prison, being dead? Better Red? Remember when -- that's all we ever talked about, back then?
