Episode 25 | Interview with the CCAA leading scorer Brandon Knapper

The host's of CSN The Network Podcast sit down with another West Virginia legend in Brandon Knapper, the starting point guard and conference leader in scoring for California State University. Knapper, a former WV player of the year, and first team all state player, walks us through his childhood, and the experiences he had that shaped him into the man he is today. Experiences such as moving from California, his love for baseball, the trips him and his grandfather took to AAU tournaments and different camps for him to gain exposure. All of which led him to attain a full ride scholarship to West Virginia University. After a red shirt year, and a couple of seasons where he saw success with the Mountaineers, Knapper transferred to Eastern Kentucky University to complete his degree, where he is now a graduate student at California State, and continuing his playing career. In the 2021-2022 season, Knapper led the CCAA conference in scoring, he was also first team all American, first team all region, CCAA newcomer of the year, first team ALL-CCAA, and he was player of the week 3 times.
