  • Thanks for the simple video. I have an old axe that I wanted to clean up a bit - I don't want to buy any special chemicals or tools for it and just wanted a quick fix to restore it with what I have on hand.

  • What was the 1st grit sandpaper did you use on the blade? And was that a ball peen hammer to bring the eye of the hatchet farther down on the handle? Last question, what size was that C clamp did you use with that piece of leather? I just found your channel so thank you for this in depth video 🙏🙏

  • I’ve tried wax and have begun to love it. Started w carnauba car wax on handles. Grippier and easy to keep clean. But I have no idea if it’s better than oils or not so please reply….it’s been a year and it’s seems significantly better but I’m ignorant on subject in general

  • You should of pulled out the wedges and did the gimmick you did but with a file then soaked the head in blo thenx did a new Wooden wedge and then redo the metal wedge as well .

  • Brother of your gonna do it ,then do it right. Take the head off and re-wedge it. That head is gonna come loos after a few chops.
