Anand on his games against Kasparov and Carlsen. Flash Memories
We're back with a special of ours on Levitov Chess World - Viswanathan Anand recalls his games!
During the Levitov Chess Week, Ilya Levitov prepared several well-known (and not so well-known) positions from the work of the fourteenth world champion Viswanathan Anand. The task of the former World Champion was to remember the game and the circumstances, where and with whom the game was played.
How did Vishy Anand cope with the task? Find out in a new video of the Flash Memories section!

One of the best Vishy interviews out there. So many new insights here! :) Hats off Ilya for doing this!
Awesome chess legend. His memory is astonishing! Is it true that all chess World champions have a photographic memory? One of the nice guys of chess.Wonderful interview.
I am simply always in awe of Vishy!
Some Adams game Hilversum That's crazy considering the number of games he's played
Good job Ilya. Enjoyed watching all the World Champion series of Kramnik and Kasparov on your channel (thanks for the subtitles!). World Champions' minds operate at a different level - Once a world champ, always a world champ.

An excellent interview.👌🏻👌🏻Good questions from Ilya and candid honest even witty answers by Vishy Anand.I liked the informal tone..like a fireside chat between two friends.
You could listen to this genius for hours So much wisdom
Thank you! Amazing interview! =)
Love Vishy’s humble brag 😊
I don’t remember what I ate yesterday morning and here is a 54 year old vishy ..,, ❤️
Great interview. Anand, as always, lovely and pleasant sharing his memories.
only if u listen VISHY speak, it feels like poetry in motion ...so harmonious
Vishy recognizing the Adams game with only the white pieces laid out.....mind blowing
Awesome!!!Big Like 🍒😃
This interview shows why super gm chess is a younger man's game. Players like MC and HN and HN (wow just realized Hans shares initials with the Great😮) Vishi is a truly great chess mind at all ages.
My fav human 😍
Does anybody know what is the sound playing when Vishy guesses the position correctly? Seems very familiar but can't remember
Why is there an h in Vishy?

Россия-матушка должна была колонизировать Индию, тогда Виши свободно говорил бы по-русски.
Say it proudly Anand, you were a *World Champion in 2000* ! It is Anand's gentlemanly stature that makes him say "okay it was a disputed title!" Important facts/clarifications: 1. Kramnik and Kasparov _did not_ participate: so they were the ones that were scared. 2. _The 2000 FIDE event was a World Championship_ ( *just like boxing had a split title at that time, chess had one from 1993-2006* ). 3. The _World Cup_ was a separate event in the *same year, won by Anand as well!* (hence Anand's confusion! it was held at Shenyang China that year). [If people say Anand did not try for a rematch with Kasparov, they are wrong as well! From 1998-1999 negotiations broke down because Kasparov did not even find a sponsor who was willing to pay any money to Anand!] Hello sissies/pussies Kramnik and Kasparov!
