I believe you're referring to the guy that works for Amazon in Israel, has a tech sector job for Amazon, he was the guy I think who tried to escape. Civilians turned him right back over to Hamas. Amazon won't even acknowledge one of their workers is a hostage.

In the UK we are told that ordinary Palestinian civilians do not support Hamas. These Israelis were kidnapped by Palestinian civilians so how can we believe that the majority don't agree with Hamas?
There's a study called "public opinion poll - Gaza war 2023" which asks Palestinians from both Gaza and the West Bank about their opinions of the recent war. According to that poll, 60% of Gazans view Hamas positively while 40% view them negatively (that's an approximation, the rest are a really small part). So while there are a lot of Gazans who don't support Hamas, the number of their supporters is greater. Also 82% of Palestinians from the west bank support Hamas.

They have been living on foreign and Israeli aid. They were given the chance to build up a social and economically safe society. October 7th however showed what they really and foremost wanted. Oh yeah they could have built up a social and economically safe society while being under heavy blockades (even before hamas was in power) and israel purposely keeping Gaza's economy on the brink of collapse (look up reuters, cbs and nbc articles from 2011). Netanyahu kept Hamas in power because it was the best way of preventing a palestinian state (his own words) despite knowing their genocidal intentions so wheres his condemnation and responsibility? Yes the palestinians should be so grateful for the aid Israel provides even when 90% of gaza was food insecure before the war started and even more had insufficient access to clean water. How ungrateful of them! I mean the infracture damage done to gaza by israel in 2014 ($8 billion) alone was almost double the cost of the amount gaza has received in aid from 2014 to the present day (less than $5 billion) but yeah thats irrelevent isn't it. October 7th was horrific and unjustified but it was done by 3000-5000 people not the entire population of 2 million so it does not show what they really want.

We pray for the troops, and for each precious hostage and their families. We pray that God grants every leader in the military & the govt wisdom, skill, and supernatural sight & knowledge about where the enemy is, where the hostages are and how to rescue them. We pray that God blesses Israel, & her people forever. We love you, & that will NOT change no matter what the world does.

What stands out for me across all of these Israeli 10/7 survivor videos is how matter of fact, non plussed, strong and resilient these survivors come across. These are special people. We need to stand with Israel.

How many have you killed now? Is it over 30,000 now? We are all watching...on TV, social media, and we see who is really suffering. It is terrible that any civilians suffered - on both sides. But notice that these people did not harm her physically, or rape her - like its being falsely alleged by Israel and US propaganda. Instead, she was taken hostage. Treated well, kept alive, lucky she didn't get bombed or shot by the IDF. She was returned when Israel returned some Palestiinian hostages. Israel continues to hold thousands of Palestinians, many of them children as hostages essentially - imprisoned with no charges.

War is hell. The Hamas kind of war is beyond that, if we can imagine it. As sad as it may be, there are rules that usually govern war, and taking hostages to be used to “sell” to the enemy is not one of them. Using civilians and children as shields is also not one of them. Using schools and hospitals as cover for military installations is not one of them. So, since the rules of war are ignored completely by Hamas, no sympathy should be forthcoming as the Israeli military try to recover hostages, and destroy Hamas bases within Gaza. If they are constrained by the aforementioned rules of war, so they must be. A difficult task when the enemy has no such inhibition.
One side committing war crimes is not now or has ever been a justification to commit war crimes. All this talk of "human shields" is maddening when its used to carpet bomb civilians. If Hamas was found inside an Israeli hospital there is a 0% chance of that hospital being bombed. And that tells the world what we already know.
God bless all those suffering and who have suffered in this terrible situation. I stand with Israel.

Most Palestinians have never voted in any election, let alone voted for Hamas. 52.3% of Palestinians are under 18, most of whom were not even born when the last election was held in Jan 2006. Amnesty International's report from 2015/16 in Gaza, Hamas military courts continued to convict defendants in unfair trials, sentencing some to death. Torture and other ill-treatment of detainees remained common and was committed with impunity by Palestinian police and other security forces in the West Bank, and Hamas police and other security forces in Gaza.24 Feb 2016. On 30 July and 4 August, thousands of Gazans took to the streets to protest as reported in the Times of Isreal, Jerusalem Post, Associated Press, New York Times, Le Monde. Hamas brutally suppressed these protests. Hamas has not held any elections since 2006. No elections for over SEVENTEEN YEARS. According to the latest Washington Institute polling, conducted in July 2023: Hamas’s decision to break the ceasefire was not a popular move. While the majority of Gazans (65%) did think it likely that there would be “a large military conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza” this year, 62% supported Hamas maintaining a ceasefire with Israel, 50% agreed with the following proposal: “Hamas should stop calling for Israel’s destruction, and instead accept a permanent two-state solution based on the 1967 borders.” Moreover, across the region, Hamas has lost popularity over time among many Arab publics. This decline in popularity may have been one of the motivating factors behind the group’s decision to attack. 73% believed the Hamas government to be corrupt. Yet, Gazans saw little hope for electoral change. With no election since 2006, a majority of Gazans alive today were not old enough to have voted for Hamas. What’s even more damning is these ‘civilians’ knew this was happening, as did those ‘reporters’ who filmed it. Not only that, where were the IDF?! The supposedly AI controlled fence that couldn’t be breached was torn down easily and no assistance arrived in some cases for 12hrs!!!
Some Palestinians were employed by the Jewish community, their kids taken to school to build trust and unity and how were they repaid for their kindness? the Palestinians gave inside information, the layout of the Kibbutz and people living in them and passed it onto hamas so they were able to commit those awful atrocities.

Hamas posted this video of their plans and actual attack; they put explosives near the border which helped breach it, along with a tractor and other tools. They had drones with explosives which were dropped on the "eyes" of the base near Gaza and bombed them, that's why the soldiers responsible to look at the border and inform on any development, didn't have the cameras to help them, it was all destroyed. Very little infantry soldiers were at the southern area at that time, it was also a holiday and some were at home for the weekend. Even Hamas was surprised of how undisturbed they were for many hours.

As a Canadian🇨🇦 born civilian who has never experienced war first hand, I don't understand why there is always fighting and war in the middle east. The different cultures are so beautiful and special. Why can't these countries just live in peace? The fighting is constant. Why?

I have a friend who is a renowned psychiatrist in my country and he once told me how to spot if someone is lying or telling the truth. One of the things you can do is to ask if certain details someone mentions could have been invented? Often the weirder the detail the more true it is. Right from the start this lady mentions a teenage boy holding an armful of ice cream. Now ask yourself - could she have invented that? Everything is possible but lets be truthful hear, it is highly unlikely she made that up. Therefore it is the truth and if she began with the truth then we can confidently assume she continued with the truth.
