  • I used a toothpick to clean out the port charging area & I was successful in charging my old iPhone 7 Plus asap again thanks to this video.   • My phone is absolute hell, I haven’t been able to get a proper cable so I’ve been buying cheap cables that last a month, had to have my phone parts replaced due to water damage in the charging port and all. this actually helped as I bought a new charger today and it didn’t work so I had to hard reset.   • Hello, I really need your help.. I have a iPhone 13, it doesn't charge with the original cable ( which I bought new)..but it does charger with another 6 $ cable but at a certain angle where the wire I pushed down a little..I don't have no debris or anything and cleaned my port with acetone also..   • Unfortunately none of that worked for me. I just bought a new iphone se and it won't charge no matter what unless I use the original cable. The other cable I have is in great shape, it's good quality and it charges my old phone and my AirPods just fine! I'm not sure what else I should do

  • So, i had tried all the things that were mentioned in this video to no avail before, but watching this video still helped me actually fix the charing issues with my iPhone. For the last tip (cleaning the port) the essential element is to be patient and keep poking and scratching around the charging port with a toothpick for a couple of minutes, instead of just scratching out visible dust for a couple of seconds and then calling it a day. Even if you don't see fluff fall out, apparently microscopic particles can pile up and scratching those for a couple of minutes actually gets rid of that. I did just that and i was able to have it connect to a cable again. Thanks!

  • My iPhone 7 plus like the battery messed up it happened after installing the IOS14 update it's off completely but if i put in the cable/cord it will turn on and I will see the apple logo then it will just turn off again. I might buy a upgraded version like a 8 or a 10

  • Very helpful. For some reason, wagging/moving around our 1 week old cable (as long as we held it three or 4 inches away from the end) worked. Holding or moving the connector on the end did not. Its as if the internal wiring was improperly soldered to the connector inside the sheathing. Crap cables ugh 🤬
