  • I wish I had their bottomless pockets. They've been messing around for decades & have spent a staggering amout of money. Forget the treasure. What they've spent probably adds up to more than what that is worth...

    • They’re not independently wealthy nor do they have bottomless pockets. They’ve clearly stated they used their pooled savings to get started and then have had to stop while they seek grants to further the research and exploration.

    • @@markmiles4359They aren’t. They depend on grants that they apply for, to continue paying for the level of research and excavation that they need.

  • The biggest treasure of Oak Island has been the benefit to the local economy AND the ground breaking finds that serves to put Canadian "known" history on it's ear. Given the finds on this tiny island, we now know that outsiders visited Canada long before times that were previously known. The historical finds far outweigh any "treasure" that may or may not have been found.

  • I have been following this story of Oak Island since it came on TV and even though they drag things along each EPS, I can't wait to see the Treasure when it is found and how they get it out without damaging it. ❤

  • What a great story. Could you imagine having a brother that would spend his wealth to attempt to satisfy your desire to tackle a childhood dream. I’m sure they got some financial support from sponsors too. So, if it didn’t bankrupt them more power to them. A worthwhile project to do with your brother.

    • On the show, when asked how much gold the expert figured based on the water, they asked if it was a chest full or….and the expert said it was a dump truck amount based on the water test. So yes, it seems to be literally tons of gold.

    • There is gold naturally in the ocean and if we can extract it gold would be very cheap and plentiful thing is is you can't get gold out of water. So I don't know how much golden water means that there's gold nearby.

  • Shamans and Psychics need to join the crew of scientists! They were used by the very superstitious Vikings and Templars to build the thing. I also see the treasure on a shelf ( like Marty suspects) however the once dry area is now flooded and most of the treasure is under water. The bore holes have contributed to the release of water onto the once watertight shelf. It will be recovered before 2030. Good luck Guys!❤
