At first I was gonna ask why they gave Freddy a lighter but then I remember he gives birthday cakes.
In fact, I'm prerty sure there was a message mentioning that he has a lighter that got cut (Idk why it was cut)

He isn't programmed to fight/kill , that's why he didn't fight those map bots even if he can easily destroy them one by one
I don't think he could kill her with just one punch, but he could certainly kill her without dying too.

I always interpreted this ending as either: (Observable: there was another twin.) (More 'out of spectrum' construct: its a more artistic decision showing her sitting at the roof of her blindness after death.)
