Israel, West Bank on edge ahead of looming ground invasion into Gaza
The latest of several recent airstrikes in the West Bank targeted what Israel called a "terrorist compound" in the city of Jenin on Sunday. The deadly strike fuelled angry protests on the streets that have been ramping up since Israel started bombing Gaza. CBS News reporter Haley Ott has more.

We should've at least tried to attach a "stay out of the West Bank" clause to the military spending, that would have been the least we could do to prevent wider war. However, some say this was prompted by the normalization of relations between the Saudis and Israel.

While I appreciate them covering this, the journalist who said rather flippantly that they were used to 100 trucks a day is sadly mistaken! More like 500 trucks is correct! There are over 1 million people who need humanitarian aide! We need a ceasefire! And although its often said that we don't negotiate with terrorists, they are WILLING TO STOP THE WAR if we do prisoners swaps, hostage exchanges. Why doesn't Israel do that and stop all the killing? 😢
