She is brilliant at reading contracts and product labels, always hold my breath when I see her checking the small print.
That's why she is where she is, I always do wonder if they are briefed on all the people wanting to seek investment, as such high profile business people, I'd say they do.
she's a qualified doctor that's why she cares about patients but my only criticism is that she can't wait her turn, she just needs a little patience x

She’s definitely totally down to earth and not as hard as she seems in the show. I used to work where Theo lives and he too was very normal, polite and respectful. It’s nice money doesn’t ruin all people.
You are naïve. They may be nice for a few seconds and smile at you as a neighbor, but try working for them or being a small family business competing with them.
@@maxpaws3977 that’s different though. If someone sees me on the street I’ll be nice to them, if they’re tryna fight me or go into direct competition with me I obviously won’t be so nice. You have to be a hard ass to some degree to be successful in business but that doesn’t mean that being pleasant is an act
@@maxpaws3977 As Amaan said, there is a reason the phrase "It's just business." is thrown around so much. Some use it truthfully, others use it to seem less like a rich snob. everyone is different and that shows in this podcast given how much variety of lifestyles and careers their guests are.
@@maxpaws3977 I've worked in MNCs like P&G and a lot of these millionaires are actually really humble nice people who didn't let money corrupt them. Not everyone obviously, there are a fair share who are arrogant, but I wouldn't paint all of them as snobby people

Deborah is a 🐐 . She’s always been a class act and a genuine personality.
Debbie and her husband were neighbours of ours for sevens years before she was in Dragons Den. We went on holiday and when we got back another neighbour asked if we knew that Debbie was on the telly? I would mainly see her out in her garden with her wellies on. Always very straightforward and decent.
See, not sure I believe you based on the fact that you called her 'Debbie'. She gets scathing any time anybody calls her Debbie. In any interview or pitch.

About the Debbie thing though - she said in general she *hates* being called Debbie. I don't think from what she said, it was just a pitch thing, but fair enough. My father when he was a salesman working in Minehead once had food with Deborah, she used to visit the arcades for business frequently back then and he said that she is the most down to earth person. If she wasn't famous you wouldn't know that she was as wealthy as she is. She hasn't let the money get to her head. She comes across as very stern and strick in the den at times. But you have to be to protect your own interests and your money. But she is obviously such a caring person with a big heart.

The drinks are amazing. I'm suprised you've not seen it, it's stocked in pretty much every shop I go into.
The sauce is pretty nice tbf. Have to enjoy a kick to your sauces though as it's made with scotch bonnets
@@branthall1787 I do like Scotch (as in whisky;), and spice. 100,000-150,000 scoville (habanero) are my sweet spot for daily meals but I can go higher to feel a kick occasionally.
