Showing Spencer Strider highlights and there not being one strikeout is ludicrous
Pitching is about getting outs, anyway you can get em 🤷
It was so nice to hear the soothing voice of Vin Scully. 🐐
I know
Zach Greinke 2004 that’s crazy that makes me feel old
2014 was a wild opportunity for baseball. Betts on offense, DeGrom on pitching.
Crowning Evan Carter the best to debut in 2023 feels a bit early. Keep in mind Kodai Senga played his first MLB games this year and he nearly won rookie of the year. Carter played all of 23 games in the regular season. He made the most of them and parlayed them into 17 excellent postseason games, but I think he's working off a bit too small sample size relative to his position.
Well said.
No Pitching highlight of Shohei are you kidding me
dont get your panties in a bunch
Great vid
It's only the third season for Julio and the fifth season for Yordan !What a monster career they have
2018- Shohei Ohtani
2018❤🦄
"Left fielder Joey Votto" is hard to imagine
😂
Left fielder Albert Pujols was real
Still remember 📺 watching Devers launching that baseball off Chapman often have it come to mind
Nolan Arenado went to the same high school as me, El Toro High. He debuted a year before my freshman year!
3:31 worlds oldest teenager
The Corbin Carroll slander will not be tolerated.
hes just not better than julio, its not close
I think its because corbin carroll debuted last season and only played a handful of games. If it was rookie season then he would for srue get last year.
He didn't play a lot in 2022. Julio had a 150 OPS+, won RotY and got MVP votes in 2022. If they both played close to a full season for 2023 and 2023, it'd be closer, but Carroll didn't in 2022, so they're not comparable.
@@bradyk1394 he was better than Julio last year? Dont be so delusional
evan carter clears sorry pal
I Love Being A MLB Baseball ⚾ Fan
Great man's
It's bizarre that Kenley and Kimbrel debuted the same year, I didnt know that until poking around at debuts, and they both reached 400 saves within a few days of one another
Baseball has never made me feel so old.
The 2010 major debut team seems to be having trouble deciding between Freeman and Stanton. Well, considering Stanton's decline in recent years, it's probably Freeman... Freeman is a hero in Atlanta!
Evan Carter over Kodai Senga is wild lmao
SHOHEI OHTANI🇯🇵🗾
My goodness time goes by quick ..
I miss Buster Posey so much
1:54 Joey Votto with hair is crazy
No DeGrom?
Seager over Francisco Lindor is absurd
Posey 🎉❤ Trout ❤️🩹❤️🩹🎉 Judge ❤🎉 Ohtani ❤ 2023 no Martian ?
Martian still got lots to prove. After 2024 postseason yessir
Adley not 2022? Crime!
jrod better
Where s Grant Anderson??????? Evan Carter is a beast
How Pete Alonso not here. HE BROKE THE ROOKIE HR RECORD
Yordan has had a slightly more prolific career overall. You're comparing a 136 OPS+ player to a 165 OPS+ player who also won a world series.
I like how back in the day, all players came up plain, baggy jersey, little accessories, and earned their upgrades throughout the years. Now players come up with every accessory already attached.
It’s almost like as time moves on, styles change…
Recommendation: adding commentary to these types of videos rather than just the players name followed by highlights.
Good list. Most of them won MVP
so is nobody gonna talk about the teenager mooning everyone watching at home back in 2012 lol
Jason Dominguez also had a great debut in 2023
Greinke, Verlander, Alvarez, 3 Astros
Greinke,Kershaw,Betts,Freeman,Seager,Ohtani 6 Dodgers.
@@Marlboro-kp7kzcool 👍, I don’t mean this to upset you but are you just saying that because a Dodgers traded away Yordan Alvarez?
Freeman over strasburg is a level of disrespect i will not tolerate
thjis video is very interesting because if u consistently stay healthy and work hard ui can be HOF
@4:05 dudes totally mo0ned the camera on Bryce Harper's first hit.
i remember bryce's debut.... a year prior to the golden age of the 21st century doyers
トラウトの初ホーマーてあの変則のウォレルだったのか😅
Like this comment so everyone can see it. Carroll and Henderson don't pass Carter on this list because the two of them debuted in late August of 2022. They also don't pass Rodriguez, since he was balling out since April of that year. A little research goes a long way, guys
GOAT...
BOSTON STRONG 🟨🟦
Strider over HSK is a crime, too...geez this list
zack hample jumpscare
Acuna Jr and Ohtani, Arraez and Alvarez, they are same year debut...
2019 should have went to Pete Alonso. He broke the rookie HR record
Carter over Senga, who pitched a full year and finished 7th in cy young voting, is laughable
Also matt McLain and Edouard Julien too. There are probably more but that was very light digging. Carter was incredible in his 23 games the season, and throughout the postseason, but he has not played enough to be the pick
What’s going on at 4:06 🤯
Bryce back then and still today swings too hard man, he's like the Jacob deGrom of hitting....
この時既に日本では十二分に活躍してるという事実
Poor Acuna. Any other year, and he’s the choice by a mile.
Nobody: Geoff Blum: That baseball.. is gonna end up in somebody’s brisket sandwich.
I’m sorry but after breaking his leg and coming back the next year winning a silver slugger, mvp, cpoty, and a ring buster posey had 2012 dog
What’s up with MLB and these lists?
Engagement bait
@@alphaxiro3845 Every pick on this list is correct. The fact it works as "bait" is a testament to how stupid these commenters are
I think they would have picked Wander Franco for 2021 if not for…well, you know
notice the guy who caught trouts first homer???
2023 should have went to Davis Schneider
Yermin Mercedes???😮
So for 2015, they're not gonna have the 2015 Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant?
wheres Wander?
How is Cody Bellinger not 2017
This 2019 si Fernando Tatis jr
Evan Carter over Corbin Carroll is ludicrous
Carroll debuted on August 29th, 2022
2007 Ryan Braun ???? ライアンブラウン???
I think Ohtani was in the same year as Acuna so it was going to be tough to pick just one, but Ronald should be on this list.
Both are generational talents
@@Iverson8811 they are.
Why would you pick Acuna over Ohtani? Ohtani has more fWAR and bWAR. And if you just look at achievements, has more MVPs.
@@solenstyle as an Ohtani fan, I think Acuña also does something crazy that no one can do. 70+SB, 40+HR.
@@Iverson8811I agree, but thus far he hasn't had a better career. Hence it's not disrespect to Acuna that he wasn't chosen. Besides, it's just a list that doesn't mean much.
Im not 100% sold on Evan Carter.
No acuna?!?!
where is corbin
Posey over Cutch?
6:28絶対オースティンやん笑笑
ハーパーは何故ブーイングされてる?
Zach's pitch and stand hasn't changed a bit and bruh hes still pitching towards 40 years and young players keep getting injured while these pitchers who've been in the mlb for years haven't gotten injured so bad that they're still pitching like nothing has happened
Evan over Corbin and Gunnar???
Yes, Evan Carter for 2023 over two people who did not debut in 2023
Why do so many people seem to not comprehend what "debut" means? I keep seeing this same argument for Gunnar and Corbin , they both had their debut in 2022 not 2023. Basic reading comprehension isn't hard.
EZ it's a small mistake lol , some people just like to have pride in their rooks and Corbin is great :D @@unkledoda420
Where is Gunner Henderson?😢
WBCでのオオタニサンのヘルメット外しはハーパーリスペクトだったのかな😂
D....devers? Oh boy...
Corey did no then he was going to win 2 World Series mvp
メンツすごいね😊日本とは層が違うねやっぱり😮
Carter seems great but he didn't play that much. I would have went with Volpe or Elly De La Cruz
I am antonny santander
Esa lista esta mal a y falltaron jugadores elites?? Quien mas esta de acuerdo??
Oh ya
Greinke is the best forever
Carter over corbin what? It's a joke or something
Well l think is because his debut was in 2022 right?
Evan Carter???? Lol Ranked #21 in WAR for rookies. They did that just for comments. Click bait.
No chris davis
Corey Seager over Lindor is a crime
Corey Seager is a 2x World Series Champion
He barely hit anything during those postseasons Lindor in his first postseason ever broke a record held by Omar Visquel that was a club record for 15 years Seager is not able to hit in the postseason never has. World Series MVP with the Dodgers was Mookie Betts World Series MVP with the rangers was Semien so just because he’s a champion doesn’t mean he’s good in the postseason
@@user-rn2tg8jq3d un dos veces MVP de la serie mundial "casi no dió hit" chuzo mano qué más quieres jajajajajaa
El premio lo da la liga, no tu 😂
@@andreecelis2093 I could have been in the league if my father didn’t hold me back due to spite. I did a showcase at 25 after not playing competitively for 13 years and could have been on a college roster but was passed eligibility so I had the talent just didn’t have parents who supported me
Zack's still on FA list. Revive! Bode is always on your side and Shohei's.
7:25 There's one guy who shouldn't be on camera.
Sorry But Pete Alonso shoulda been 2019
WHY IS CORBIN CARROLL NOT THE PLAYER FOR 2023! WHAT ARE WE DOING!

Corbin Carroll?

Seager over Lindor and Correa? No lol.
Yeah as good as Evan Carter was in the postseason that last one has to be Gunnar or Corbin no doubt about it.
Agreed, unfortunately Corbin and Gunnar made their debuts in late 2022. If they hadn’t been called up it would’ve been one of them this year for sure.
@@nafsworld Yeah there’s that too.
disappointing this misinformed comment is at the top.
or elly de la cruz
@@johnhenson6495 oh I’m misinformed?
2008 theres way better players then kershaw. Max scherzer for example
