  • Spiritual practice and development is the only thing that has true and absolute importance in this life. I feel very blessed to have had that seeing, 3 years ago, where I was finally my real self observing my thoughts. And then I saw the present, without past or future, and what a life lived in the present could be. I am so grateful for that and for having access to all these teachings through KZhead because in my life, no one I know knows anything about spirituality or wants to know about it hehe they are on their own paths... 🙏

  • Why we don't want to realize realty because by just realizing vastness of omnipotent and omnipresent our egos gets shattered. And once our egos are lost we loose our individuality. We are not designed for that. So we aren't designated for leaving egos but to channelise to well-being for everyone . So respectful for everything and thankfulness towards everything we got for free. We are not paying for air, water, sunlight and everything we needed to stay on this free planet. Is sufficient to channelisation of our ego's, efforts, all potential and wisdom.

  • I love the story of the fool! starting from 2:24: The transcendent of thinking is not any kind of regressive movement. We are not regressing to the state of somebody who’se mind is relatively undeveloped and who does not have a problem with egoic thinking because there's very little going on in their minds, what used to be called before it became politically incorrect, idiot (crowd laughs) or fool. The fool was, they were always, you could see happy fools. There's not enough thinking to make them unhappy, so they are below egoic thinking. In medieval times, every village had at least one village idiot or fool, and they were normal. It was accepted, essential part of the community. And even the royal courts had a fool. A very important figure, although that figure probably was just pretending to be a fool, and that was one of the most sometimes very influential position in the royal court, but also one of the most dangerous jobs you could have, 'cause you could lose your head at any moment. But only the fool was able to tell the king or queen what was wrong by making it into a funny story. But the fool is more deeply connected, as we know from mythology, the fool is more deeply connected with the source. Still hasn't gone as far out as a normally developed human. He's more simple. He, the fool, for example, of relatively speaking is a simpleton. It's like the Hobbit in "Lord of the Rings". The Hobbit is a simple guy. Doesn't think in complex terms. Loves the simple things of life, loves eating and enjoyment, but why the fool has to go on this important mission that nobody else can carry out, that's a mythological motive. That's often the case because the fool has a connectedness still with source that the more developed humans don't have. A similar motive in "Forrest Gump", the movie. The fool does great things, this guy, Forrest Gump, but he's, because he's, and life always supports him. If you watch that movie again, he always, he saves people in the war, he does heroic things, but he doesn't claim credit because he doesn't have much of an ego yet. And all his life gives him the next thing and the next thing, supports him. But we don't want to go there.

  • I have received so much growth from listening to Eckhart's talks, but I have hit a speed bump. The easier it is for you to see your ego makes it easier to see it in others. How do you correct others without ego? The first question might be, why do you need to correct? Certainly that would be your ego, right? Well, the other option is to sit idle and by not letting someone's behavior invoke your ego you are not feeding their own ego. There is so much ego food out there your nonresponse will not starve it, the ego will simply look else where. The want to help is empathy, it is your brother and sister, we should feel empathy to others that are hurting themselves. There are two ways: lead by example and teach. A good resource for the latter is something Eckhart has mentioned in his talks before and that is A Course in Miracles (ACIM).

We co-operate well. It is informed that it should retire sooner or later. But how you even exist in this uncommon world without ego? fukme. It can never happen. Except of course the cases when you simply can afford that. But if you ask me if i had boy and i can choose him set mind-free or make him best at some sports or art- of course i go for sports and art. And without ego they cant survive. :)

    • Martins I think I know what you mean about Ego. We certainly need the positive ego like you say with sports etc but if we can be mindful of the negative ego that is based in fear and is distructive and mean spirited etc and not act on those nasty thoughts. I believe we are all One in Truth and if I can live like that I can greatly diminish the negative Ego that believes and lives like we are separate. I hope that makes sense to you. Blessings and Peace Brother.

    • I was talking to someone this week about when you begin to recover from poorly mental health and constant overthinking, suddenly there are huge gaps to fill and some much time to fill them with once the 24/7 addiction to the minds thoughts cesses. Of course compared to how things were before it's a lovely problem to have but still takes a bit of getting used to living without the constant mental noise pollution in your head 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    • @@johngreen4683 Wow I think you hit the nail on the head. I went from psychosis and being admitted to a hospital, after so much darkness and trauma, to finding God (well God found me) and healing over 5 years, I have worked so hard and created so much stability within myself and my home that its almost jarring when I wake up anxious but nothing to actually grab onto if that makes sense. My mind starts looking for things to worry about, and with the Internet available 24/7, it's very easy to find lol

      @Moonietie@Moonietie Жыл бұрын
    • @@Moonietie hi you have done fantastically well overcoming psychosis, that is a huge achievement,, well done you 👏👏❤️. Winston Churchill once said " enjoy the war, the peace will be really difficult" and in some way he was correct. After a prelonged period of being consumed by thoughts, thinking and feelings pretty much 24/7 it's difficult to know what to do with all that time on your hands once you have overcome what was once all consuming. Personally I like to use my imagination rather than let my mind use it for me, this might be to create imaginary stories in my mind about anything I chose, much like a, mental movie but, where I'm the star of course 😊,, absolutely none of its real its just fantasy fun, but then again is it any more or less real than worry and being anxious about things that are not happening and are extremely unlikely to ever happen at all, its all fictitious imaginary stories, the only difference is when I choose, my stories are happy and nice, while my mind, well that tends to have a preference for horror, drama worse case scenario stories. The nice thing is none of its real so why ever would we not choose to use our imagination for fun rather than fear ☺️🙏🙏🙏🙏, as Albert Einstein once said " imagination is far more valuable than knowledge,, because our knowledge is limited while our imagination is limitless 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  • I love you Jesus! Without you we would never know the fulness of God’s love. Jesus you are the key to the universe for “all things have been created through you” So I’m waiting on you Jesus. You give me strength. As a single mother things aren’t isn’t easy on me. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I’m desperately struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need to get by, and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully, God gives me strength to keep going. Even as I face homelessness almost every month with two children. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. Please pray for me and my children.

  • Just one more thing (inspector Columbo): One should forgive oneself, just like one should forgive others, shouldn't one? Well, in order to forgive yourself, you should be aware of the fact that you have done something wrong in the past in the first place, right? So, you go to a stage of remorse first. And if you can overcome this feeling, by the help of the Lord, karma is destroyed. It most certainly is. And nobody else can hurt you any more, or has the right to make you feel guilty again, or remind you of your awful past, even. Then, the cicle of action and reaction (het waanzinnig wentelende wiel van wedergeboorten (Dutch)), is broken in two, and time ends. It just ends.

  • This leads me to question is it bad to be constantly fantasizing? For me I think it started in Middle school. Church was so unbearably boring, I would actively day dream to escape from the boredom. I would pretend I was angel and imagine flying through the sky as people praised me. I would imagine what it would be like to kiss the girl I always had crush on or how cool I would be in the future etc. Or lastly, I would relive all my best moments and triumphs, real events that filled me with a sense of pride or stroled my ego Slowly I realized I could do this everywhere I went. I never had to be bored, I never had to be fully aware of my surroundings, people and the real world were so disappointing, it was much better to shelter my attention/focus comfortably inside my delusions. Now this actually takes a great deal of effort, it wasn't natural for me to at all times create mental landscapes, narratives and objects to preoccupy myself. I found it was easier to cheat by reading. I was constantly reading, always fully absorbed in otherworlds. I would read during most of my classes (the teachers often complained) and the world's inside my books served as a scaffolding and fertile ground for my to cultivate my delusions and more throughly avoid reality. Now at the age of 27. I can't seem to stop, every waking moment is crammed full with all sorts of opinions, predictions, remembrances and fantasies. This ceaseless mental output is starting to feel like a place holder for me actually living my life, and my thoughts they've gotten darker and more negative with time. I'll be having a perfectly happy daydream then suddenly I'm 18 and reliving the most painful rejection I've ever faced. Then I'm stuck in a headspace of how pathetic and worthless I am... I know it's not true, but I just keep on thinking, and thinking about thinking and I want to stop. I used to be able to stop, but should I really try to COMPLETELY stop? I'm driving home from the holidays, is it even possible to stay present and aware during a 4 hour car ride?

A human may do A or SOME foolish actions, but they are not fools. I've yet to come across a human who is perfect (who has never done foolish things) and vice versa. Everyone is a mix of good and bad.
