  • If this had been South Africa in 1974, I would never have left… 😥 Nearly half a century away from home - on the run at first, then (like Saint Thomas) swearing I knew nothing of Apartheid, nothing of the pain and suffering of my fellow South Africans. Then at last, like the Wandering Jew, teaching my children - born in foreign places - about our country, its skies and veld, its peoples and and its riches. Now, reaching the end of a life spent far from home, I pine after the Swartberg, the Drakensberg, Hout Bay, Knysna, the Karoo, Sani Pass and the wide open spaces of the former Transvaal. What a wonderful country. Take care of it for me.

  • Me encanta escuchar Coros Africanos!
