I didn’t do a power swap yet, I’ll try soon and make a video about it. Last weekend I went to the NIO House Düsseldorf, they had a small concert. Super great environment and it was great to be surrounded by NIO users ☺️

Congrats and great video...To HELP NIO and get LOTS more KZhead LIKES. you should do your NIO car reviews\NON reviews in PUBLIC SPACES with lots of people walking by( outside a Football Stadium, During a STREET Festival, etc). KZheadrs want to SEE and HEAR other peoples REACTION to the CAR. Every NIO lover should do WHAT they CAN to GET the BRAND out there. WELL DONE video. MORE please.

Why did you choose ET5 ? I prefer ET5 touring to ET5
It was so difficult to choose! I was really tempted to go for the ET5 Touring, but I preferred the compact design. The ET5 is enough for us right now... We don't have a large family so I don't need the larger hatchback solution ;) yet
@@luisportas the ET5 Touring is more advanced in some areas and even charges faster
@@luisportas ET5T can charge at 180kw i think? can the ET5 in europe also do that now too or is it stuck on lower charging speeds :(?
@@NomadWalker-io3ne It is the battery that limit the charge speed. So even a ET7 or any other Nio model will be able to get 180kw of charge speed if you get one of those newer batteries in a swap station... Shows that even if you are settled with a Nio model and in years ahead you will still have access to later battery technology.

What size battery did you get and did you buy or lease it?
It’s a 75Kwh battery and it’s a NIO Subscription.
@@luisportas Are you able to rent the 100kw battery per day like they can in China?
The steering wheel is a little hard to install i wanted it a little closer to me when i tried the car but it worked . My kia Sportage gt line has a better range and its easier to set it exactly the way i like it .
👍🏼I love to ride with a low steering wheel, so I don’t play much with my ET5 since I received it. I just pushed it as down as possible 😏 I found that gives me a more relaxed driving posture.
This is why I own 6k shares of NIO.

NIO ET5 is great but not for tall drivers and it won't take basketball players in the back seat either. Young, degree educated, professional women with good incomes in China love the ET5 ( a light whitish pink is popular with Chinese gals the body colour is called First Light Kiss). Average female height in China is 158cm (5foot 2inches). I am going to presume our Iberian gentleman host is not an NBA Basketball player. Taller people get the ET5 Touring or another NIO, one of their SUVs.
☺️ Indeed I’m not basketball tall (and I don’t know any basketball players🤣). My wife is Finish and a bit taller than me 😅 she loves being driven around in the passenger seat. She can even stretch her legs so she travels quite comfortably ☺️ I’m becoming the official Didi driver of the family 😅

Please make a video after 6 months or 1 year, sharing real opinion would be nice after some time to know all the good/bad things about it, especially on software side.
Absolutely, I’ll aim for that. It’s the first time I have an EV so right now, everything thing about the car still feels pretty awesome. I’m sure I’ll have more knowledge in a year.
