  • “900 years of time and space and I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.” My favorite Doctor Who lesson that they always teach is that everyone, no matter who they are or what they do, is important.

  • 12’s war speech kills me Partially because we are led to believe that after everything 10 went through and 11’s acceptance and ‘moving on’ from the Time War, that the Doctor has gotten over things and truly moved passed them. eg. 11 forgetting just how many children they killed that day. Then Peter reminds us (with phenomenal acting) that no matter how much the Doctor moves on, he can never truly forget and the weight of that day will always be on him.

    • I know! This is my favorite scene in the entire show. So much emotion. I really wish we saw this side of the Doctor more. The side that's hurting. The side that he hides from everyone, even his closest friends. Even himself. The part of the doctor who is tired of seeing the same thing over and over with every planet and with every creature. It's his lowest point but it also makes him who he is and what he does. Phenomenal story writing.

      @unusualpotato42@unusualpotato429 ай бұрын
    • Not just that day, but fighting on the front lines. Even with galifrey being back, the doctor committed atrocities in the war.

      @alexconverse4839@alexconverse48398 ай бұрын
    • The thing is, the Day of the Doctor's conclusion reveals that, contrary to what he thought, the Doctor didn't commit a genocide on his own species. But that doesn't erase the entirety of the war. The Time War went for centuries in all kind of different places and times, and the Doctor was all over it once Eight stopped fleeing it. The Battle of Skull Moon that caused Cass to hate the Time Lords so much? The War Doctor was there, leading troups. Yes, thanks to The Moment, the most horrifying act of violence the Doctor commited never came to be, but he still made a lot of terrible things during his time as the War Doctor.

  • 11 saying that 10 looked back on every companion, every. single. companion. That but in the feels. Something that viewers won’t get if they only watched the main show and not SJA. It’s such a beautiful line that gives so much more weight to 10’s farewell, but not only that, it adds to 11’s character, showing that he is connected to the other Doctors, something we don’t see too much of until Day of the Doctor

    • @@ElizabethMidfordHatesCops I mean I think it was when the 8th said they are human on their mother's side but the movie was pretty good, it's a shame the actor at that time of the movie only got to have one time playing the timelord until they regenerated into whoever they would become offscreen, did they become the War Doctor, the Fugitive or the 9th Doctor, I mean the 50th Anniversary could imply the 8th became the War Doctor who went back in time, destroyed the daleks only to regenerate offscreen to become the 9th as they did say during regeneration "I hope the ears aren't too inconspicuous" implying they would become the 9th as the 9th did have somewhat big ears but I could be wrong
