Often wonder what match fans watch sometimes. We were terrible second half. Pogba incredible? Did nothing but get pickpocketed and misplace passes all game. The only thing he did was win a pen, which he subsequently missed. Every now and then he plays a wonder ball like against Chelsea and we laud him, quickly forgetting about the majority of his time loafing around in a borderline DM role. He should sprinting down the middle and making things happen rather than trying to fish the ball out of defense and going Hollywood all day long.

Yep. I've said this before. Rashford is 4 from 4, with every penalty so clinical. His first ever penalty as a senior was against PSG in the 93rd minute to go through in the Champions League. If he has the composure to score that it shows he's an excellent penalty taker.

the boys played well... Pogba was just unlucky... James probably more suitable as a super sub but he played well and didn't deserved the yellow card... Martial and Rashford didn't interchange much and Rashford have no shot on goal... without Andreas the pressing from Jesse was not so effective plus Andreas deliveries was more clinical when taking set pieces... we don't look comfortable taking freekicks or corners without him... but we dominated the match and better than last season against them... there were maybe 2 options on how to win the game... to dominate them with possession which we nearly won or try giving them possession and try to win the game through pressing-stealing-creating quick goal scoring chances... either way but well done to Ole and the boys we were so much better than last season

Rashford wasn't playing striker, he was setting up Martial for goals and he missed all but one. The only awful thing Rashford did was that bizarre FK.

Not a bad performance but: 1. Lingard shouldn't start, either Mata or Pereira to give Pogba to 1-2 with, Pogba was isolated sometimes which sides like City will exploit. Need more midfield control, and not at the 88 min. 2. Dan James should be a power sub. 3. Dreadful passing at times from McTominay, not sure what's going on, but Ole needs to get him to improve dramatically. 4. Luke Shaw needs to be allowed to run up more because he can be such a threat with Rashford and Martial. Felt the plan revolved more around the right today. The one time Luke does charge forward it's a goal.

Ole’s game management was horrendous today!! They scored and we waited what must have been about 20 minutes before we changed anything? Despite not threatening the goal at all Then still chasing the game he waited till 87th minute to freshen the attackers?? Where’s the sense in giving Greenwood 4 minutes on the pitch!!?

LeonC9704 PS mate Rashford did absolutely nothing, Pogba missed the penalty after spraying multiple passes away. McTominay had a shocker, Lindelof made a couple mistakes, James got booked for diving and offered little in attack and shaw was exposed as soon as Adams came on in the second half. Jese didn’t play well but you can’t pull him out of a team in which most players didn’t play well.. He even helped set up the goal
