  • The will to live is something amazing to see. I found a baby cat abandoned by the mother and raised it like that. Tiny bottles of milk, wiping the tiny mouth, made a mess when eating, got so excited. Named her Rescue.

  • If you find an animal this young without a mother, you need to get a heating pad for him/her to lay on (ON THE LOWEST SETTING) because they cannot regulate their body temperature. I had to go through this with a cat once. I also had to get a milk substitution from a pet store. And you need to wipe his/her bottom with warm water on a q-tip because at that age they don't go to the bathroom without help.
