Absolu remains my favorite Acqua Di Gio. Love it. Massive compliment puller, sticks around in the heat. And I personally love it.

If you want mass appeal, you gotta buy mass appealing. Creative/unusual/niche stuff is way more fun to wear though... if others like it then it’s a bonus but once you start wearing fragrances just for yourself it gets a heck of a lot more enjoyable imo. 🙌🏻
Wearing fragrances for yourself is cool and all, but having people tell you that you smell fantastic is so much better. The best is when you get both worlds to collide 😎

Bvlgari Terrae essence is my daily and favorite scent
bentley for men intense is a great fragrance, i think guys will love it even if the ladies hate it. such a high quality fragrance for its price point.
Definitely a unique fragrance nice price value but mostly for older guys like ancient guys. And old women might like it 😂
@@Getting_Good2007 no way. If u think that, u haven't spent enough time wearing it. It's got depth. So you might not get a compliment in passing, but if you wear it enough around the right female, it works. That stuff is amazing for the price.
My girlfriend's favorite from my collection is Encre Noire L'Extreme, she absolutely adores that stuff surprisingly(she also really loves tom Ford noir)
I get alot of compliments when I wear any of the two Pradas I have Carbon & Sport.
I have gucci guilty EDP and is amazing.
Currently thoroughly enjoying the old favs, Sauvage Elixer, Spicebomb Extreme, By the Fireplace, Prada Ocean on a fresh, clean day.
Okay so it's -3°c where I live and I'll admit Prada ocean works very well within the winter time here in Liverpool
Love encre noir. My gf loves it. Actually wearing it today layered with Jazz from ysl. Awesome combo. Point is taste varies and it's impossible to say something definite when it comes to taste. It also depends your country. Seems like american women loves vanilla and sweetness. Not so much here in Denmark.

Tom Ford noir has gotten me tons of complients🤔 and it’s my favorite day to day fragrance
Let’s also not forget the first and most simple thing people ignore and take for granted. Any fragrance you overspray is off putting. I don’t care how mass appealing or expensive the frag is, don’t be the loud and obnoxious smelling person in the room. Control your amount of sprays people! 😂

I was wearing Terra Essence at a promotional event and an attractive young lady tried to pick me up in front of my wife. It's how you wear it guys, confidence.
I grew up using preferred stock and stetson because that's what dad had in his cabinet 😄

I use Stetson aftershave as 28 year old, my gf doesn’t run away 😅. Aqua velva musk is a must though

Bvlgari Terrae Essence is amazing smelling, I still don't know why I haven't got a full bottle of it yet, I have one sampler left.
Tom Ford Noir is a masterpiece!
Bvlgari Terrae Essence isn't all that bad if you are looking for something slightly more unique. Personally for me, I found it way too strong in the opening. Same can be said of Polo Red EDP. You get this giant burst of Cranberry Sweetness in the opening and nothing much else.
Big Encre Noire fan here, but I can understand how some may not like it. For those people... Encre Noire Sport! 😁

For those looking to sample what Guilty Absolute smells like and potentially even warm up to the scent before commiting to a bottle, give Salute Man from La Muse (Lattafa) a try. Couldn't imagine a clone brand going after something so divisive but there you go. Dirt cheap for the same vibe.
Bentley for Men Intense smells somewhat similar to Givenchy Gentleman EDP. No surprise done by the same perfumer.
Ursa by Tiziana Terenzi is my most frowned upon fragrance. “Smells like a cat litter tray” was a memorable quote.. hence I gave it away 😂

Ha, just happened to wear Bentley For Men Intense today for the first time since last winter
I own all and love most of the "unpopular" ones... especially Noir EDP (I should wear Absolute more, but I did not get the opportunity yet). I also heard that LIDGE was particularly hated by women at the time, I wonder if it is still the case with the current version.

I always say the absolu is Armani’s most versatile cologne... office, date night, casual, gym... its classy but sporty and fresh... I love Dior homme sport too... very overlooked fragrances

Just wore ADG Absolu for the first time today. Was surprised how much I liked it. Interestingly enough, wife doesn’t like it. Or at least doesn’t like the opening. When it sweetens on the drydown then she thinks it’s decent. But for context she is a woman that pretty much only likes sweet frags.
There is nothing like Encre Noire.. its magical
Bentley for men intense gets me a ton of compliments, might be because i'm a gym goer and seen as a masculine man but conversely prada l'homme doesn't. People compliment me depending on how they perceive me - so most sweet frags don't complement me strangely

At first sniff for Terrae Essence I was like Nooooo! But then I received a free sample & I wore it just for Sh&@s & Giggles & I was like whoa! Then I wore it again & to a suit & tie event & got like 3 unsolicited compliments. Now I like it. 😂
Encre Nior is the only fragrance i have ever EVER received an unsolicited compliment for!
Def one of the ppl who hate Tarrae essense but it def smells of earth for sure. What id think sand caves in the sun smell lol. Its not a bad smell necessarily tho but i 100% dont really want to smell like it but it is def itneresting.

ash, i listened to your advise and bought one of lattafa fregnances- wood intense. and i am so dissapointed, how on earth people can love it, its so heavy on woods, so dry that its hard to smell, doesnt have any interesting twist and notes beside woods, only after dry down which is ok

Whenever I pick up a fragrance that I can’t stand I always keep it around and come back to it every few months. I use them to teach myself about the notes I wouldn’t naturally gravitate to and become much more knowledgeable overall. I have 3 right now I can’t stand, but I learn from.
Surprisingly Gucci guilty absolute is my most complimented fragrance!

I bought Acqua Di Gio Absolu as a blind buy and when it came in, I LOVED it, especially at the great Black Friday deal I got it for. I was talking to a coworker the other day and we were talking about our fragrances. He mentioned that his signature scent, something I do not like very much when he hops in the truck wearing it, is none other than: Invictus. RIP
You should’ve put Sauvage Elixir in hate category. I’ve worn this multiple times to the office and 4 negative comments all from women. The 1 positive was from my boss who is a 65 year old man. It just smells old.
My experience has been completely different!
I get THE MOST attention from women with Dior Homme Cologne, Narciso Rodriguez for him Bleu Noir EDP, Prada Amber pour Homme Intense, and Chanel Antaeus. Everyone has a unique skin chemistry that melds better with certain notes. I know my wheelhouse, and while I do wear and enjoy fresh/sweet or deep/rich/artistic, I’m usually a musky mf’er 😂

I’m a woman and I love Encre Noir but I wear it myself, I don’t wait for a man to come by wearing it and, like Shaun Leal below! I prefer the original to any flanker.

I figured put why people say Sauvage Elixir smells like old people. The fragance doesn't smell like it but we all associate Fougere fragances with boomers cuz that's what they wear
