It was a shame how liberating how both Nina, and Ricky decided to call their relationship off the past episode it was so difficult, and toxic for them to passive about what they were feeling. Ricky need some time to deal with his issues, since most of it came from his parent's divorce, and Nina also need to really allow herself to grow, and follow her own path.
I think Gina likes ej now and I think that Bc one she got scared when she saw ej during his interview segment thingy and how she said I then changed it to we like she didn’t want to make it seem like she liked him rather how everyone sees ej like how she described him not just her

Ricky needs to be single for awhile. He needs to deal with his abandonment issues because regardless of who he’s with that’s always going to be an issue for him. Especially with someone like Gina who has dreams and aspirations just like Nini. If Ricky was with Gina and Gina was offered something else, Ricky would be acting the same way. So he needs to just be single. Gina is finally smiling and it’s nice to see, she was so fixated and broken up over liking Ricky and Ricky choosing Nini, that she let a boy define her. She literally wanted to leave the school, her friends…all because of 1 boy who doesn’t give her the respect she deserves. They’ve made Ricky the worst character this season and he can’t be with anyone until he sorts it out. Gina and Ej are great and really push each other imo.

Yes, this! Gina and Ej are so sweet and support each other, I ship Rini but not as much this season as both Nini and Gina deserve better than him at the moment, he needs to sort himself out a bit before he has any relationships.
I disagree. I think they have made Nini the worst character oft he season by a mile. She is so selfish never wants to talk. Lies and does everything behind Rickys back and gets mad when he is questioning stuff.

This was a great episode but it was also so sad. I expected for Ricky and Nini to break up because of what’s been going on but I totally didn’t expect it to be like that. It was so sad. I was trying not to cry. Olivia’s tears looked so real that you end up balling with her. I’m really starting to like E.J. and Gina a lot more right now because of their development. They’re so darn cute together. I ship E.J. and Gina so much. Their scenes are getting cuter and cuter as time goes on. The scene when E.J. put the Duke jacket on Gina when she was asleep is so darn cute. I can’t. He likes her so much. He can’t stop smiling when he’s around her. I think Gina will stop liking Ricky because of her growing friendship with E.J. and she will slowly start to like him instead. I think E.J. is great for her. He was there for her when she was going through a hard time and bought her a plane ticket. I just can’t enough of how he looks at her. It’s the cutest. You can see that he likes her so much. Can’t wait to see what happens next with those two next week. I think Ricky and Nini should be single for a while. It would be the best thing for them.

If I’m being honest, I feel the whole reason Ricky was clinging on so tight to the relationship was because of the problems he had with his parents etc. I feel like Nini was his shoulder to lean on, as he said in the first season “The only person I go to advice for his currently on her honeymoon in the cafeteria.” so obviously Nini felt like the only thing he had left, he probably wasn’t mentally okay and Nini was there for him. I feel like he was scared of her leaving him, especially when Lily got all of the stuff about the Rose Song stuck in his head.

This legit broke my heart yesterday and I’m still feeling the feels 🥺😭. I can relate to Ricky situation because I’ve been in his situation before. Things where changing and everyone just expected him to be okay with the whole thing. A lot people are saying that Ricky is being way too clingy but I think he’s lonely also felt like nini hasn’t really been there for Ricky or she hasn’t want Ricky around in this season. Independence doesn’t mean you can’t have other support and I feel like nini is rushing through her life. I’m really hoping they’ll get back together for the season finale and I think there’s a good chances #riniforever

I just found your channel and just want to say firstly I love these reaction vids. I said the same thing when Nini was telling Ricky "I didn't want to hurt your feelings" like she said it in such a distant way like she was just waiting Ricky to be the one to call it quits. I feel bad for him because it seemed like Nini didn't even consider the actual pain Ricky's in with his family when he said he thought of their relationship as a safe space. I'm the girl who says "You're music is fire Nina."
I think it was best/needed for Rini to breakup for now. From the very beginning Nini has shown the want to be independent and figure out who she is. She was just starting to do that before she got back together with Ricky. He clings to her because she is his "home" and feels safe to him. The more Nini ventures to find herself and get out of her comfort zone, the more ricky clings to her or "suffocates" (maybe not the best word but you get what I mean) her. Which in turn makes her want to pull even further away which is why shes so straightforward with him this ep. She really wants the space to find herself and she doesnt feel like ricky is allowing her to do that. Im glad they broke up cause they both need to work on themselves and figure out who they are as individuals. I also REALLY hope that Tim and Disney are brave enough to talk about mental health in this series and possibly have Ricky see a therapist to work out his abandonment issues from his mom. I really think that storyline would be SO amazing to show teens that its ok to seek help.
yeah even though the break up made me sad, i understand it was the best decision for nini & ricky. also, a big YES to the therapy storyline idea, i would love to see that!
