Was looking for an explanation, thank you. I think the Orangutan was smart and didn't really "go for the kill". Could have probably easily messed him up with the grips he had.

I had this exact thing happen to me before. I was hanging out with one of my friends when I got home, and 6 kittens came out from under our porch meowing. Unfortunately, it turned out someone abandoned them because there was an overturned box by the road and cat food scattered all over the grass. We couldn't keep them ourselves (my friend isn't an animal person), but we had some neighbors that came by and adopted 2 of them. The other 4 I took care of until I could find people to take them. I hope they went to some good families.

I’ve seen it happen before. I had a small plastic 2 1/2 in. tube we made at work laying on the floor, and came home to the cat acting strange. Looked close, and there was a mouse hiding in it, head and tail hanging out of it just like that. The cat couldn’t have bitten thru it, but probably could have crushed it if it wanted to.

The ape tries to bite his leg, and when the guy finally is just about to escape his shoe falls off and the ape still has hold of his ankle / calf and tries to pull his bare foot to its mouth to munch his toes (they have the jaw strength to rip them right off.) DO NOT underestimate primates. They are pound for pound much much stronger than humans.
Not technically true. Primate muscle is the same strength as human muscle. What's different is that humans have mental inhibitors on our muscles which cap the output to about 30% of the max whereas other primates don't, because our spines and joints have yet to evolve properly to handle bipedalism, and using all of our strength would damage tendons and ligaments. During a life-or-death situation those inhibitors disappear, so you literally have 3x the strength you are used to, basically the same strength as a large chimp. Which we kind of are.

@@corrupt1user Ive also heard it has to do with the fact that apes have a much higher percentage of fast twitch fibers in their muscles than humans (chimps for example have twice as much compared to humans in similar sized muscles). Makes them a lot stronger but can simultaneously make it harder to do highly precise movements with their hands for example. Just what I’ve heard, haven’t done any research lol

Yeah I remember exploring that part of the map. You have to hold sneak to get around the first kitten or it will spawn 12 more once you engage. They give good xp if you tame them but it costs a shit ton of gold to keep them as pets. Just be extremely careful because there's a rare chance that the kitten raid will trigger "Momma Cat" to spawn, and at this point it's basically game over for you.
