  • I found this video very interesting and thought-provoking around anti-trust in USA and made me look up more about Dr Khan’s work. What surprised me badly though was that Dr Khan was referred to as “little girl” in your video. That’s unacceptable at the year of 2024 even when it’s used to show how surprised lobbyists were about her election.

    • Very good point. Very disappointed by BBC for being sexist like that. It's the little things that matter, and as long as people, especially journalists from reputable sources like BBC, will treat woman differently than men, it will perpetuate sexism in the society. If it was a man, would he be referred to as "a little boy"? Of course not, he would be "an ambitious young man". Do your part better BBC please, and just treat men and woman equally, even when it comes to the small details

    • True,it was a bit sexist how they presented her. I think she's doing a great job.

  • there are two features of interest i have in relation to this global story. 1) why, as an american, do i find out what my government is doing better through other countries' news. 2) i do not think that companies using software that we all use is actually a monopoly. thank you for your time.🎉

  • 7:37 So the US Department of Justice considers a throw-away impromptu remark to be "evidence". I hope nobody ever lets DOJ do something important like count beans.

  • Khan is doing a great job. All government departments are small and underfunded compared tto what the private sector, especially powerful tech has to work with, so things are going to take a bit long.

  • I have great respect for Lina Khan despite being a supporter of the Microsoft acquisition of Activision.

    • A blind spot there. Look at Microsoft Office lock-in or their effective monopoly on consumer operating systems. Presumably she filed financial disclosures and doesn't have a financial interest in Microsoft.
