Nice work. What type of ammunition (brand/weight etc) are you useing on the hosts?
9mm 147gr reman from a local 300blk 200gr S&B 7.62 M80 ball 5.56 M193 ball
@ABsuppressor was the 300 subsonic and 9mm? Assuming yes but important to know, thanks
@@WhiteBoyNick1 yes.
I will be happy to inform you of the superior quietness of your wonderful product once the AFT releases it (Raptor 8 with all the extras). They said "90 days elect Form 4", I said "I can manage that patience". Well its now at 8 months and climbing. I think the same people that came up with the "90 days" were the same who said "2 weeks to slow the curve" . I have a prior stamp, and a current FFL. Those people know me better than my own familiy, and yet I wait until the mountains crumble into the sea..
That’s wack jack!
And now they're down to 2-3 days! Amazing how things change
5 days was my wait....sorry.
That’s a funny post!
Great suppressor but for future videos please put the caliber and weight and subsonic/supersonic on the top of the screen so we know the whole time and theres no confusion. Appreciate it 🙏
It's refreashing to find a company tha shows testing where their product doesn't blow the competition out of the water and giver legit results.
Awesome stuff. Thanks for doing these less than favorable comparisons that really press your products performance, it's more informative than just numbers. It's also interesting to hear the different tone/pitch between each one. Update, I ended up ordering a raptor 10 in .375 for a 350L build, but my first can is a Banish 46. I haven't had a lot of chances to shoot it yet, but so far it has worked great on 350L, 9mm, 45-70 and 300WM. I look forward to my raptor coming in and seeing how they compare on the smaller bore guns.
Love the editing!
Wonderfully done, love the specs displayed on screen. Very well done video thank you gents. But yeah.. the cal’s and weights.
I use my Q Trash Panda on 5.56. I also have a SilencerCo Saker 5.56, which may be nominally "better" but is heavier (although smaller diameter). To me, the pure db reduction of a suppressor isn't critical, especially on 5.56 which is going to be supersonic regardless. Size/weight/balance is more important, which is why the Saker does well on my lighter 12.5" pistol and the Trash Panda better on my 16" rifle. I also use a SilencerCo Octane 9 on my 8.5" 300 Blackout as a dedicated subsonic pistol. It sounds like an air gun, and the Octane weighs next to nothing. I really like AB suppressors, and I will likely pick up one or two. I like your light weight and flash-suppressing caps. Would love to see good data about back pressure in your suppressors.
New to suppressors. Was any testing on the .300 Blackout done with subsonic ammo or just standard velocity ammo?
Nice work, your comments and test seemed fair. I have the Hybrid 46, and Omega 36m. I have the Bushwhacker 46 on my wish list. I'll have to do more research on AB suppressors after watching this video!!!! Thanx!
How do you find those work on your smaller bored guns?
@@ABsuppressor Took me a minute to get the gas issues corrected but they all work well with all guns I own.
How does the 46 sound on a 223 with the correct end cap and am I going to need a adjust gas block
Ive found 375 raptor listed as available in 4 or 6 baffles. Is this an actual option?
You put the huge reflex on to compare with the Nomad TI but then list weight and measurement without it for the side by side comparison
What a joke, They did that with the hyperion K as well. If they’re trying to be that sneaky. I wouldn’t put it past them to use different ammo when testing their cans. Their cans are based on charles H kenney ‘s 1910 silencer patent. Not the original but not far off from maxim’s original 1909 patent.
Shout out to the chapters in the scroll bar.
I must have got the last or only 6 stack in 375.... im not disaapointed in it on my ar. Id argue its quieter woth the 5.56 end cap than my TBAC ultra 9 in 30cal.
It's not that we dont want 10-12 cans. It's that dealing with the paperwork sucks. Appeal the NFA.
Thank You Sir For the Video and Information, I’m looking for Suppressor that I can use on Multiple Caliber Firearms Can .375 Help me in that Regard I’m Kevin / I have 9mm .40 S/W, 10MM, 300 Blackout Ar15 Pistol and 16” Ar15 Can You Steer me in the right direction on Silencers and Adapters That I May Need
I've never used any suppressor ever and have been wanting one forever. Of all the brands I've seen I'd like the little bird for my .22 and still hoping (waiting b/c of money) that all suppressors come off the $200.oo tax stamp that imo is illegal, especially if it's for safety. Like the gov literally says "hey, you want hearing safety, pay us!" is something that confused me on how it was passed and will be returned to freedom land again soon.
With your comparison to the Dead Air Nomad Ti you used a 5" Reflex but didn't mention the extra weight it adds, just the flush mount weight. Can you tell me what the weights are for the various sizes of Reflexes you offer? I have not been able to find this data on the website either. Thanks for the videos!
exactly, once you add that reflex on there, it isnt a super light option. I have found that the reflex traps even more heat against the barrel and has been horrible for 3 shot strings.
Was that a wolf 9sd or a wolfman
I just chose and bought the YHM R9 as my first can (it's 2024 and I got mine approved in 7 days!). I'll be using it on my S&W FPC, Stribog (converted to 16" carbine for 2-gun comp), a PSA Dagger full size pistol and eventually a Aero Precision 8" 300Blk pistol that I'm working on building.
Trust or individual? I have two I've been waiting on for months (trust) and 2 I'm about to submit paperwork on but might do as individual and then switch to trust after they're in my possession
Since you asked… I have Witt machine Naughty 9 for all of my carbines. It’s probably all that I will have until I get a purpose built bolt action rifle. So far I’ve fired it with my AR47. It’s OK for firing one or two shots without earpro. I wouldn’t do a mag dump without ear protection. That said, I like your technology. When I do need a better suppressor I’ll keep an eye out for yours probably in .30 cal.
How would it handle a 308? Should i even ask about the 338?
I’m blind and shoot off of hearing the ring of the target. This is going to be a wonderful way to both recognize the sound of the target while not blasting my ears because I can’t use ear plugs.
Do you like bolt actions or gas guns because my friend does the same and has modified a bunch of gas guns to not reciprocate and shoot Hollywood quiet with suppressors and subs.
@@ApolloneekUm, I could be wrong, but I feel like the original comment was meant to be funny.
Just close both eyes.
I work across the street (ish) from you! I just found out by accident 😆
I’d really like to hear your silencers in person . Anywhere I can do that in east Texas ?
Have you checked out our dealer locator live in the website?
@@ABsuppressor I ended up ordering a raptor 4 stack with 3” reflex for my 6.5
@@Michaeldpress14 Good choice!
razer 7.62 on a10.5 ar sbr obsidian 45 on an mpx 4.5
A lot people like polo k too, I like these better tho.
I always like a suppressor video that quantifies things, looks like the weight of the reflexes are missing
You're right. All of the weights exclude the mounting options, including the competitors'.
Did you change end caps for each caliber? Excellent video and thanks.
Only on the 300blk vs the Hyperion where indicated.
My main question would be if you had multiple sets of baffles that could fit in the same can in different calibers, would that be legal? I'm asking so I can decide which suppressor to buy
No, according to the ATF, you cannot change the caliber of the can once it’s purchased.
They want their $$$
I've looked a few places and can't find any near Lufkin!
We're available on Silencer Shop and have a great dealer locator on the website!
I'm about to mate an unholy combination. A ruger mark IV with a GSL 7" multical suppressor. I'm the guy this video talks about lol
U guys are comparing multiple calibers but unless i missed something u didn't show which calibers each test was using....
I'm very interested, but I'm sure these suppressors are prob twice the money
What about a 7.5" ar15?
Dead air primal
Try the Weatherbey 300 mag. As I kid that always seemed like a huge cartridge
But the question is will you offer a suppressor in 45? 450bm and 45-70 says hello LOL
Not soon.
My goodness what is that tan gun? Looks like a hk ump 45 clone. They so spendyyy
How would it handle a 308? Should i even ask about the 338?
For .338 you would need to mount on a 24" barrel or longer.
