When on safari in any wildlfie reserve and you see a wild black rhino that must be one of the best sightings ever as they are not so common and very difficult to spot as they spend most of their time in thick bush while feeding and resting.
Other names for the Black Rhino are Prehensile or hook-lipped rhinoceros.
The black rhinoceros, black rhino or hook-lipped rhinoceros is a species of rhinoceros, native to eastern and southern Africa including Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Conservation status: Critically Endangered
Mass: 800 - 1,400 kg (Adult)
Scientific name: Diceros bicornis
Speed: 55 km/h (Maximum, Running)
Lifespan: 35 - 50 years
