  • @1:12 1990- 1997 Lincoln town cars Dorman A/C Heater Blend Door Actuator is not connected to the motor so the door is swinging side to side so Basically the door is opening and closing inside your H vac system when you make a turn, its an easy fix there are KZhead videos that show you how to fix it

  • Vac line came off the fresh air intake system or another part of the cooling system has lost its vacuum and if failing to keep the door closed to the heater core bypass.

  • The C-Clip broke on the axel. You have to take the back differential cover off; push the wheel axel back on. Install the new C-Clip and done. Unless there is other damages

  • Greetings from Gainesville, Georgia!Sometimes when the air conditioning isn’t working in my old 2000 Escalade (only ~130,000 miles - I bought it in 2001), I can run over a big bump and it starts working. Then I forget and hit another bump and it goes off! I came over from the Barron’s channel, just today.

  • the bearing came apart had it happen on my old 77 jeep Cherokee chief, but i was traveling on the highway at 60 mph. nobody got hurt and one new used axle later was back to hunting and fishing.

  • LOL the thing falling over is the flap in the ac that decides where to direct the air either to your AC Evaporator or to the Heater Core hence the crazy hot or cold switch when you turn left or right

  • the thing your referring to in the dash is called the belndor (controls the ac and heat when tuned on the dash) pretty much a full dash removal to fix it

  • As a former Lincoln/Ford master tech.As far as your ac issue . Its the blend door . It's probably broken inside the box. Dash will most likely have to come out or it could just be the blend door actuator. Best to diagnose in person. Im in Greenville sc but ill definitely take a ride down to meet yall .

  • The blend door motor has a change over arm on it that swaps it from hot to cold... Its came undone and the blend door is flopping open and closed

  • Mechanic here...sounds like the air mix door is busted. Likely the linkage that attaches it to whatever actuator or motor they have in there to move it normally. Basically, because the door isn't attached to the motor anymore, it's just flopping around there free which is why when you turn hard to one side or the other the door flops over and either blocks or opens the heater core or evaporator core. Of course, you've got many other problems too, but since you specifically asked about the hot/cold issue....

  • The blend door flap is opening and closing. Sounds like it broke. When functioning correctly, it moves to close off the heat side from the cooling side. Usually requires dash pulling to fix, but some have removed the glovebox and cut a hole in the housing to get access to the blend door…😂

  • Blendoor actuator isn't hooked up to the door flap. Flap is going between ac evaporator and heater core.

  • For your AC issue there are little doors called blend doors a linkage or door or actuator is messed up you'll have to remove the dash

  • Heater blend door actuator, it’s an easy fix. It’s basically what your temperature knob turns behind the dash. It’s right behind your temperature knob.

  • Tire falling off and rolling in front of you, happened to me on my muddin Jeep few years back. Tires where filled with a pollyerthane material so they count go flat, but that makes them weight 300 pounds per tire. And yeah, it was a pain to get that tire put back on in the middle of a field... I feel the pain.
