  • I am understanding anxiety better now but during setbacks, my thinking changes 🤭 My biggest symptom right now is restlessness and impatience which I know are anxiety offshoots. Any advice on how to specifically deal with this? I feel like moving all the time , even if I am resting or in bed. It is so hard to focus or stay still and even eat food, or watch a video without feeling the need to move or use my hands etc. It is like my body wants to flee or I am crwaling out of my skin. So so annoying !

    • I know what your talking about it when I'm in bed I'm ok is when I'm up can't seem really comfortable sitting relaxing as you say you want to flee but from what yourself that's how it makes you feel..shaan saying if you know someone that recover from it would be good for you but I don't know no one at the moment none my friends or family is going through this but me so I just got online ones at the moment far from where I live to talk to for support this guy has been through it and lucky to have recover so you wonder where your going wrong.

    • Those were early symptoms for me. Not setbacks. Being that restless for me was indication of high anxiety. But either way you have to resist doing what the anxiety wants you to do. So be still and calm and fully embrace those mental feelings telling you to move. Don't give in to them

  • Two things. Address sleep anxiety and how lack of sleep makes things difficult. And what if your panic is so bad, you can't do a face to face meeting with you for mentorship? I can do audio or email.....:)

    • I think a big step would be that you face that fear of face time meeting. You will feel empowered afterwards

    • Sleep anxiety is a tough one and my anxiety is high when I have a bad day. But over time it goes down. But in general you have to release any hope of controlling your sleep. Just accept the anxiety that comes before sleep and embrace it. Practice acceptance instead of trying to sleep. It might just be you end up sleeping.

  • I've been dealing with anxiety since last year now I have health anxiety I'm having chest pain everyday and chest discomfort most of the time I'm afraid it could be a heart problem but my xray and ecg result came out normal and my cardiologist said I have a healthy heart and it is just a cause of acid reflux she even told me that I don't need worry about my heart because I am young and there is a low risk of having a heart issue. But everytime I'm having chest discomfort my anxiety triggered.

    • Mee too. Had anxiety and i overcame it myself. Two years later the same. This was really traumatic for me, never came out The thing is: how did you came out? In my case I don‘t know. I think my approach was totally unconscious and maybe luck. Maybe the same with you? Did you really accept 4 years ago? Didn‘t you really worry about your anxiety?

My first and second panic attack came from nothing. Can I get further clarification on you saying that we won’t fall in because we know what made us fall in? Thank you Shaan
