    • Yeah, that's kinda the thing with "world records" of this type. There is no formal competition so it's usually just a random person who became pretty good at a very specific challenge. No way of knowing they're actually the best, it's just that no one else has tried. As another example, the world record distance for walking on Legos barefoot for a while was like 70 feet. There are people who run literally 100+ miles barefoot, I'm certain they could smash that if they tried. The current record is 3.8 km which is much more reasonable, but still I bet it could be much higher if someone trained it for a long time.

  • Hi Magnus, I'm not sure how strict the no hands pull up has to be (I follow both Brandon and Browney and they seemed to have good form), but for the L-sit the rule is that your legs stay parallel or slightly above, so when they drop below that and you can't readjust it doesn't count anymore. Additionally, you're technically supposed to keep your torso more upright and your hips a bit more forward. So in your attempts, specifically, since your knees are bent it's harder to tell how high your legs are, but it looked like you were too low and too hunched forward starting from 30 or 40s, honestly. Pete was good all the way through, although he needs to be careful to not brush against the bar.

    • @@dagger_wrist But he has tape around the bar for extra friction? That gives a huge boost to your hang time. Tazio is using standard iron bar.
