  • Lesotho is virtually free from crime. been there many times. very nice, friendly people! a lot of mountains up to almost 3500m. thin air! and... fun fact, people in the highlands like to wear rubber boots! white ones - just like the ones Abrar bhai has seen in the village he visited. More fun facts: In Lesotho, taxi is called 4+1 (four plus one)! ...because it accommodates four passengers and a driver! It was very funny to hear people say on phone to me: Just stay where you are, we will take a 4+1 and meet you! :-)

  • FYI. there are fishfarms on Katse Dam. They farm trout - and almost all of it is exported to Japan. Farming cost is very low in Lesotho.
