I've seen way lesser toys cost $40, so I think this is definitely worth the price. Not as just a uv lamp, but the whole thing with two projects and the mini kitchen. If you get this first and then collect the separate surprises, you can use the oven with all of them. These are so super cute! I think just the happy smile on those strawberries, and the little tooth of that blueberry are worth a few dollars. Also, you can put the finished projects in the cupboard with the window. And, for the donut: You could have poured the cereal in the bowl, and used the little tweezers to put them on the donuts, and maybe harden the glazing midway to not make it drip. The lighting in the back counter photos was better than on the actual counter, so it was a fun addition to this.
Very cute especially in the 1/6 scale world.( Barbie World) It's on my want list.

To be fair, each mystery ball is like $16-$20, with this being $40, you get two recipes, a cute kitchen/display, and a working UV light...I think that is totally worth it. If you didn't get any of the foods, then I could see it not being worth it, but you got a working kitchen and two recipes,
I bought a lot of the mystery balls and the smaller ones are 7$ and larger ones are 10$. 6.99 and 9.99 :) like the ones with the cereals in it is the smaller one. And the one with larger foods like the hotdogs is the larger ball :D

quick tip for faster moving resin in these kits... warm it up! either place it (COMPLETELY SEALED) in a dish of warm water for a few minutes, or simply hold it in your hands for a few minutes. do not let water come in contact with the resin.. but the warmth will definitely make it flow a lot faster! worked for my make it minis!
I think they now need to make a fridge in the same style and make the freezer a uv lamp too because not all crafts need to go in the oven so if it's a "cold" item it could go in the freezer

Keep in mind the price that you would pay for the two projects of they were in ball form. That is easily $15 of the price, so the kitchen itself is $25, which is definitely worth it in my opinion.

If these are projects you really enjoy and want something fun to make them with then it's worth it. For me if you are routinely spending $15 on the craft kits then spending $40 on the kitchen isn't really a crazy amount.

I was looking at this on Amazon a few weeks ago and crunched the numbers at that point. Given the crafts given, which are from the cafe season 1 set (which are $7 a pop) I’d say $40 for the kitchen really isn’t that worth it. Then again, it just depends on how you want to utilize it and if it works for you. If you’re wanting a mini storage spot for your mini foods, for example, the price rate is more affordable than, say, getting a dollhouse miniature for that purpose.

The bowl is to make cereal with the glaze for the donut. It was enough for both. This mini kitchen is beautiful ❤

I keep the bottom yellow and the top pink. I also took the packaging and some foam boards and make an entire mini kitchen to display all my mini foods from mini brands, wacky packages, and mini verse. It took a few days to make but it was so worth it. Even has a working lamp that I can plug in.

yeah the projects are half the price, if not more (and you know what you're getting, I don't really get the appeal of the mystery balls). The kitchen isn't $40, it's like $10-20. Definitely worth it if this is your thing imo. It adds to the immersion which I could see absolutely making it worth it for the target audience.

The mystery balls aren’t 20.. the smaller ones are 6.99 and larger ones are 9.99 at least where I’m living. I don’t know how much it is anywhere else. :)

The price was $40 but it did come with $20 worth of mini’s so the kitchen itself was $20. So it’s not really that bad.
the coco-berry drink is a perfect example of why I get so confused when coco is used for chocolate. I've always used cocoa for that, and coco for coconut, so that there wouldn't be a struggle differentiating.

Quick tip for the resin bottles so you aren't straining all the time to get it out. Put it in warm water. UV resin is thicker and less easy to pour when it's cold.

Poor Jackie. The rest of us kept a little extra milk from previous openings so we could make the cereal. If you had not used so much on the donuts there would have been enough. So there are three projects at 9.99 each. Then the kitchen would be 9.99 and you get the light and a darling display. So yes it is worth the $40. 🎉 what do you think? Wow at Walmart it's $59.99 near me in IL US! I saw Dr. Squish use it and I think it's worth it, well if I can get it for less. If you are careful with how much resin, you use you can make the bowl of cereal as well as an added bonus.

(my UV light costs about 25 USD, because at the time I could not find a place selling an actual UV light that would work with my resin stuff, so online it was)

I am pretty sure that the first cupboard Jackie opened is supposed to have the "milk" resin for the cereal. That is what is supposed to be in the container.
I loved the kitchen! I use resin all the time so i have my own uv lights.. but if someone wants to start doing these kits, i think it was an amazing idea to make the uv oven. Thank you for the cool video!
